The Audio on both the video and mp3 is a bit garble, like an echo chamber. There are many new ways for an experienced audio-tech to help you adjust this issue, as I personally find this episode quite crucial to my understanding the different specific names of God, Jehovah, and Jesus with the “ I am”. I ask because Les puts great emphasis on 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. By using the two scriptures that you did combines Law with Grace. They are not written to the same people. Matthew 4:23 is written to Jews, 2 Corinthians 5:16 is written to Gentiles, therefore you are disregarding rightly dividing.
Ron Mattingly Yes Ron, I read them. Now I understand that you are agreeing with Les concerning Law vs Grace. By putting up two opposite texts I thought otherwise. I believed I was saved in 1965 when I accepted Christ, became a member of a First Baptist Church and was baptized. Three years ago Les showed me I was wrong. I now am truly saved and a very different person thanks to Paul’s epistles. I become concerned for anyone I come across that, like me, has lived a “Christian” life believing a Law- Grace Gospel. Houston we have a problem! Les said only those who were saved by believing the gospel of grace, the death, burial, and resurrection are placed in the Body of Christ; but Les also shows that Paul, himself, was saved under the Kingdom Gospel. Do we infer that Paul was not in the Body? It is my opinion the qualification for membership in the Body is not which gospel one is saved under, but if one is indwelt by the Spirit. 1 Cor 12:13
Leta Jones Paul reveal the mystery of the Gospel of Grace only after it was revealed to him by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself; therefore to support your position you must show how Paul knew of this mystery before the Lord told him. Let me also add the following: And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. Acts 9:20 KJV This is Paul's first sermon which is the message of the Kingdom Gospel not the Gospel of Grace.
I agree with les but not when he starts correcting the king James bible, he said it said gretians and should have said Greeks, the bible is perfect and infallible, if you believe even 1 word is wrong you are not a bible believer
So then..you can't agree with Les then because you are saying he got one word wrong & therefore according to you he is not a Bible believer. Actually..the KJV was translated from the original language so it was always going to be likely that there are a few words & scriptures not quite right..because..it wasn't the actual original writers translating! Ive heard many great Bible scholars correcting the translated word or explaining what the original Hebrew/Greek word meant.
I’m not going to say he’s not a Bible believer but can’t understand why he thinks it should be Greek instead of Grecian. Grecians were Jews that spoke Greek.
The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
Funny that the very example of what would be the so called equivalent of teaching circumcision (according to Les) is the very thing commanded by Jesus in Mark 16:15-16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. But Les wants to change it to He that believeth is saved and then he should perhaps, maybe be baptized, but it isn't necessary. He makes a command by Jesus a nonessential, pretty sporty of LEs. He should have read Colossians 2:11 where Paul, the very same Paul of Galatians as he would say, refers to water baptism as a spiritual circumcision, not done by human hands but by none other than JEsus CHrist himself. LEs seems like a decent sort of guy but he's just a product of a false teaching that a person doesn't have to "do" anything in order to be saved. For if he does anything that some how is some type of meritorious work, but doesn't a person have to believe in order to be saved? Is that not doing something? If asked, what did you do to be saved? Would you not say I believed on JEsus? Or I prayed the Sinners prayer? Is that not "doing" something? If I can(must)do that, then why can't I allow someone to baptize me in water? It's much more passive then me "doing" the believing or me "doing" the repenting or me "doing" the confessing, or me "doing" the calling on the name of the Lord? In baptism I'm having something done to me in baptism(physically) while Jesus Christ removes the body of sin from me (spitiually). He that hath ears. Peter commanded all believes on Pentecost who crid out men and brethren what shall we do?Acts 2:38 to repent and be baptized every one of you, in the name of JEsus Christ for the remission of sins, or to receive the remission of sins. Whose right? Peter or LEs?
Monty, all scripture is truth, but not all scripture is written to you or about you. Today, we DO NOT follow Jesus according to Israel's program, we follow Jesus according to the revelation of the mystery. Water Baptism was part of Israel's program, not ours. Jesus also said, in Matthew 6: 15, unless you forgive one another, your Father in Heaven will not forgive you, that meant to do it or else. But, Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:32, that we should forgive one another, even as Christ has already forgiven us, do you see the difference? Water has never been able to save anyone, but the Jews were expected to SHOW their faith, which in this case was by water baptism. Romans 3:30 says the Jews were justified, "By Faith" but the Body of Christ believer is justified, "Through faith". It's all truth, you just have to separate it, that's why we're instructed to rightly divide the scriptures 2 Cor 2:15.

Actually Peter and the 12 were preaching the death and resurrection of Christ from the very beginning, because you cant preach that the man Jesus of Nazareth was the promised saviour and Messiah of Israel unless he had been resurrected from the dead first. It is true that the doctrine of salvation by faith in that completed work of his death, burial and resurrection wasnt yet fully revealed or clearly understood. Because their focus and emphasis was his triumphant victory over sin and death, and the kingdom glory that was promised AFTER the prophetically predicted suffering of the Messiah as a sin bearing sacrfice and lamb of God without blemish and without spot. Without question the 12 continued to preach the kingdom gospel and the imminent return of the Lord to save his people from the time of trial and testing of the tribulation, the affliction, oppression, and persecution of the righteous and godly at the hands of the wicked and corrupt sinners. God rejectors and the false brethren, heretics and apostates from the faith whose final end was the absolute, forever consuming destroying, fiery hell.

I believed I was saved in 1965 when I accepted Christ, became a member of a First Baptist Church and was baptized. Three years ago Les showed me I was wrong. I now am truly saved and a very different person thanks to Paul’s epistles. I become concerned for anyone I come across that, like me, has lived a “Christian” life believing a Law- Grace Gospel.

Les said only those who were saved by believing the gospel of grace, the death, burial, and resurrection are placed in the Body of Christ; but Les also shows that Paul, himself, was saved under the Kingdom Gospel.
Do we infer that Paul was not in the Body?
It is my opinion the qualification for membership in the Body is not which gospel one is saved under, but if one is indwelt by the Spirit. 1 Cor 12:13
No, Paul was our "pattern" of Salvation under the dispensation of Grace...Acts 9....where Paul tells us he was a " first " ....
So, he was saved under Grace, not the Kingdom dispensation...
Leta Jones Paul reveal the mystery of the Gospel of Grace only after it was revealed to him by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself;
therefore to support your position you must show how Paul knew of this mystery before the Lord told him.

Actually..the KJV was translated from the original language so it was always going to be likely that there are a few words & scriptures not quite right..because..it wasn't the actual original writers translating!
Ive heard many great Bible scholars correcting the translated word or explaining what the original Hebrew/Greek word meant.

Funny that the very example of what would be the so called equivalent of teaching circumcision (according to Les) is the very thing commanded by Jesus in Mark 16:15-16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. But Les wants to change it to He that believeth is saved and then he should perhaps, maybe be baptized, but it isn't necessary. He makes a command by Jesus a nonessential, pretty sporty of LEs. He should have read Colossians 2:11 where Paul, the very same Paul of Galatians as he would say, refers to water baptism as a spiritual circumcision, not done by human hands but by none other than JEsus CHrist himself. LEs seems like a decent sort of guy but he's just a product of a false teaching that a person doesn't have to "do" anything in order to be saved. For if he does anything that some how is some type of meritorious work, but doesn't a person have to believe in order to be saved? Is that not doing something? If asked, what did you do to be saved? Would you not say I believed on JEsus? Or I prayed the Sinners prayer? Is that not "doing" something? If I can(must)do that, then why can't I allow someone to baptize me in water? It's much more passive then me "doing" the believing or me "doing" the repenting or me "doing" the confessing, or me "doing" the calling on the name of the Lord? In baptism I'm having something done to me in baptism(physically) while Jesus Christ removes the body of sin from me (spitiually). He that hath ears. Peter commanded all believes on Pentecost who crid out men and brethren what shall we do?Acts 2:38 to repent and be baptized every one of you, in the name of JEsus Christ for the remission of sins, or to receive the remission of sins. Whose right? Peter or LEs?
Monty, all scripture is truth, but not all scripture is written to you or about you. Today, we DO NOT follow Jesus according to Israel's program, we follow Jesus according to the revelation of the mystery. Water Baptism was part of Israel's program, not ours. Jesus also said, in Matthew 6: 15, unless you forgive one another, your Father in Heaven will not forgive you, that meant to do it or else. But, Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:32, that we should forgive one another, even as Christ has already forgiven us, do you see the difference? Water has never been able to save anyone, but the Jews were expected to SHOW their faith, which in this case was by water baptism. Romans 3:30 says the Jews were justified, "By Faith" but the Body of Christ believer is justified, "Through faith". It's all truth, you just have to separate it, that's why we're instructed to rightly divide the scriptures 2 Cor 2:15.

Actually Peter and the 12 were preaching the death and resurrection of Christ from the very beginning, because you cant preach that the man Jesus of Nazareth was the promised saviour and Messiah of Israel unless he had been resurrected from the dead first. It is true that the doctrine of salvation by faith in that completed work of his death, burial and resurrection wasnt yet fully revealed or clearly understood. Because their focus and emphasis was his triumphant victory over sin and death, and the kingdom glory that was promised AFTER the prophetically predicted suffering of the Messiah as a sin bearing sacrfice and lamb of God without blemish and without spot. Without question the 12 continued to preach the kingdom gospel and the imminent return of the Lord to save his people from the time of trial and testing of the tribulation, the affliction, oppression, and persecution of the righteous and godly at the hands of the wicked and corrupt sinners. God rejectors and the false brethren, heretics and apostates from the faith whose final end was the absolute, forever consuming destroying, fiery hell.

How could the disciples preach the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, when it hadn't happened yet. Jesus mentioned it to them, but they understood none of it. Read Luke 18: 31-34
