Very informative. 6/14/21 I start my training at WNY Energy in Medina NY as a plant operator. I plan to watch this a few more times to have a better grasp prior to my start. Thanks for sharing.
I work in an ethanol plant in IA. We don’t have a waste heat or a co2 system. Wish we did. Also we get our DDGs from a ring dryer instead of a drum dryer. I think that thing is going to be the death of me. But we are supposed to be updating to a drum dryer here soon to improve proteins. Great video! Very informative.
I Hope your plant does upgrade to the drum dryers, I havnt had the pleasure of experiencing a ring dryer but from what I have heard I don't want to! Fellow IA ethanol Producer!
Para ficar melhor deveria ser eliminado o ruído do ambiente (exceto quando ele estivesse falando); não ficou inteligível; assisti apenas para ver a planta e aproveitar as legendas.
I know that there is a difference between grain intended for livestock consumption, and that intended for human consumption. with that said, is there a difference between grain intended for the manufacture of ethanol and that for human or animal consumption?
Their are two primary categories for corn, field corn is intended for livestock, ethanol, and non-direct human consumption mostly. Sweet corn is the corn that is intended for direct human consumption.
Wow! That facility looks amazing. And the general manager really knows his plant exceptionally well. I wished I could work for them. Great job.
