Hi!:) At this time, in response to lots of requests, I prepared Chopin’s Fantaisie-Impromptu, Op. 66. This piece was published after Chopin died. For this piece, there are two versions which are mainly played by pianists. When Chopin died, he wished that his unpublished works and sketches would be burned. But, his friend Julian Fontana did not burn them. So, the first version of Fantaisie-Impromptu was published by Julian Fontana (1855 edition). Until the edition by Rubinstein, only this version was known for Fantaisie-Impromptu. In 1960, Rubinstein obtained the "Album of the Baroness d'Este" which had been sold at auction in Paris. In this album, he found the Fantaisie-Impromptu (1835) written by Chopin’s own hands, which was dedicated to Baroness d’Este a long time ago. Based on several reasons, Rubinstein was convinced that it was the final work of the Fantaisie-Impromptu. And, he found that there are significant alterations and improvements in harmony and style in Fontana’s edition. So, Rubinstein decided that the manuscript should be published. As a result, Rubinstein's edition based on the manuscript was published in 1962. When I checked RUclips, I found that the first version (by Fontana) has been played mainly. Personally, I like Rubinstein’s version. So, I prepared Fantaisie-Impromptu (Rubinstein Edition). I found that there is a sheet in IMSLP. But, it wasn't exactly the same as the Rubinstein’s edition. I will just attach the IMSLP version sheet in the description. I hope that you guys enjoy this performance!! Have a nice day!

Kassia! Absolutely wonderful! I can't describe the feeling of how wonderful this interpretation is! I will tell you one thing though. I can tell you have practiced this a lot. How can I tell that, you might be asking yourself. Well, it's your fluency. How can I describe it... You didn't look like you were having much trouble playing what note was supposed to be played! Now, I am not a pianist, but I know enough about the piano to say that when you first start playing a piece, people tend to tense up and get frustrated over sightreading it, or even practicing maybe the 1st or 2nd day. Now you, on the other hand, looked completely comfortable with it! And not only was it so clean, you managed to put so much emotion into it! The transition was on point! It went from being like a swarm of bees invading a picnic, to being like a dreamy picnic on the top of a hill under the sunset, with the occasional gust of wind (I use that analogy a lot). In short, amazing. Just like all of your other performances.
This is the first time I've heard this version.I was wondering what your score was... I got the explanation when I read you. I don't know who your teacher is. But every time you play, a great intelligence and a deep knowledge of the work appear, associated with a deep humanity. I'm not talking about your virtuosity, it's so obvious. I dare not imagine the time and the effort made to get to this point, all in the service of music! Thank you for that. (Sorry for my English).
I like the fact you chose to play Rubinstein’s version! Chopin didn’t publish this piece because he thought it was too similar to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata third movement, if I remember correctly. Well, he was too harsh towards himself... even Beethoven copied his Ode to Joy from Mozart! This piece is one of the most beautiful and hardest pieces ever, and I won’t ever stop to thank you for your performances, thank you very much!

The ending to this piece is the most peaceful ending of any piece I've ever heard
I love your soft and harsh touch on the piano! You sound similar but different from Rousseau. I slightly prefer your covers over Rousseau's for certain music and his for others. But you are both great!
Frédéric, I am impressed, although my sonata no. 18 in d major is very exquisite, I wish I could say the same about this piece.
Hey question, why havent you composed anything new recently? When the world needed you the most, you vanished
Idk why people don't understand clasical music🎵🎶🎹
The color choices are spot on!
The Rubato you use is perfect! This is my favorite performance amazing job!
我想要的不多,我只希望讀這篇文章的人健康、快樂、被愛。祝你有美好的一天,我的朋友。
I think your piano skill is crazy😱 So fantastic💗

I heard this edition for the first time. It's different from usual, but still beautiful !!
Wow! The rubato. I can play this at this speed except the ending, but the rubato is something I need to incorporate. great preformance!
와 피아노 소리를 뒤집어 놓으셨다
This is astonishing. You manage to pull something new out of it. I've been listening to this piece for about 20 years and you made it most interesting again. I thank you for this. Great work!

한쿡인 반갑고!
LOL 동지발견
is it just me who imagines themselves playing this infront of lots of people they know and showing off to them when in reality its way too hard for them?

When I finished learning this piece not too long ago, the coda was so satisfying when played in full, especially with the happy ending... The ending is perfect, and when you finish playing this, you truly feel tranquil
Imagine being Kassia’s neighbor it would so amazing
