One being the small plastic cover above the mirror won’t fit back on. Secondly, which is most important, the mirror won’t move up enough so you can see the rear windshield without slouching. The extension mount you need is the part number above, it should cost no more than $15 on eBay. This essentially brings the mirror down 1-2in.
