They are fine and yes they can withstand a car wash.
mine used to do the animation when i unlocked or started my car. now it doesn't do the animation at all, but everything else works fine. i've tried every position on the headlight knob and it still doesn't do the animation. do u have any idea how to fix this?

Yes I think so but I’m not too sure.
i think its a splitter cable not too sure but it looked like it because you plug the other end back into the Cigarette lighter port
Could this ASC system be installed on a non-SI European Civic Sedan 1.5 CVT? SIs are not sold here in Spain and the truth is that I would like to have an engine sound in my car without having to change the exhaust pipe or similar things. I would be interested if it is compatible with my car, buy the ASC system from someone who sells it. Thank you!

YO! Would you say these are worth the purchase? Really want to replace my stock ones if they're better. Was using them lil blind spot ones for a bit, til I got over them lol
They are worth it. Still definitely do need to look over your shoulder but it does give a wider view. Also water repellent which is great. It also has anti glare which helps at night when bright headlights are on. Only downside is at nighttime it’s dark in the mirror.

Yes the charging pad can come off. And yes the red light always stays on without a phone.

Nah I don’t have any seat covers. Just how it comes stock. Seat covers will never have perfect fitment. Just gotta find the one that’s closest to what you like. Look up the exact year and model of your civic for seat covers. Should find some.
I did lol but none of them fit on right, that's why I'm thinking of trading in my civic for an accord touring not just because of the seats but because I want something more bigger
It’s up to you if you want to trade in. I had a civic sport before and I wanted the extra features the Si had which is why I traded in. Just gotta make sure you can financially do it and it’s a good decision that won’t hurt you.

What wrong with your car?
Is your auto dimming mirror wired to a constant circuit? It should be connected to an ignition/ACC circuit. That mirror doesn’t have low voltage protection circuitry like your dash cam does.
I think it is wired to a circuit. I’m not 100% sure though on it. Next time I see my mechanic I can ask him for sure and let you know.
@@fardip4680 the reason I ask is because the mirror was on when the car wasn’t on, and that’s not normal for those auto dimming mirrors to stay on when the car is off due to the reasons I mentioned above.
Yes after a while it will turn off by itself. The way my mechanic wired it is it’ll turn off completely if the car is locked with they key fob. The reason it was on when the car was off is because I had the doors open and the car unlocked which is why the mirror was still on. If I were to sit inside the car, and lock the doors with my key fob, the mirror will turn off.
For those wondering why the technician had to cut out an opening for the mirror base, it’s because if you install the gentex mirror without the Gentex extension mount (GENMM5), you run into two issues. One being the small plastic cover above the mirror won’t fit back on. Secondly, which is most important, the mirror won’t move up enough so you can see the rear windshield without slouching. The extension mount you need is the part number above, it should cost no more than $15 on eBay. This essentially brings the mirror down 1-2in.

Get a CAI and and stage 1 cams. Those two go great on civics
I will definitely do a cold air intake down the road. Not sure what the stage 1 cams are though. What is that?
