- Its been over 3 years since Khaleesi first saw Budweiser's “Lost Puppy” commercial but she still comes running when the ad's music starts playing. No matter where she is or what she is doing, she always comes in and takes a seat in front of the television to watch as the adorable puppy makes his way home!

When my German Shepherd Nadia was a puppy I danced with her on the Safri Duo “Bongo song”. I danced through the room or garden and she’d grab her floss rope with five knots to swing it around with head shakes, following me. She circled while doing so. If I put the music on, at the first notes (the beat of the drums), she’d run to her toy box to grab the rope. Years later there was a commercial on tv that used that song. They fooled her every time: she rushed to get the rope. But as a reward I did put the cd on and we danced anyway. No movie or program can beat that dance with my dog. Even after not playing the song for months... the first notes still got her exited to get the rope. Her memory was flawless! She died at age 13 and a half, 4 years ago.. my sweetheart, my dancing queen. I still miss her every day. 😢

Thanks for your comment. She lives on in my heart and the plenty photos on the wall, in photo albums, on my computer, on my phone and in my wallet. But indeed dogs don’t live long enough. A 6 year old boy (I believe he was 6) knew the reason why dogs don’t get to be as old as us. When their family dog had to be put to sleep at age 10 the vet took it upon him to break the news to the boy, with his parents present. The boy cried, but not terribly, as he told them there’s a reason why dogs don’t get old: “dogs are born with the ability to love unconditionally, they don’t have to learn that. Humans have to learn that and some humans need decades for that or never learn it. Dogs are on this earth to show us how it’s done.”

He barked at the puppy not wolf. Slow it down you'll see. Even at the end you see he reacts to the puppy, even getting up on the furniture.

Dog: oh what a great movie. Starts off with a pleasant day on a farm, then gets scary. Ends up with a happy ending! A real emotional roller coaster! Two paws up!

There is one on RUclips that I watched at least a dozen times when I first found it. It's a video of a pug who gets so upset when watching something on 'America's Funniest Videos' that it literally starts screaming, then runs to the tv, jumps up and starts barking at the dog it sees on the screen. It's hilarious, so do a RUclips search of "Dog Love America's Funniest Home Videos" to find it. You won't be disappointed. My husband and I had pugs for over 20 years, and had one that would scream if she felt she was being forced to do something she didn't want to do, and it always cracked me up! I sure do miss those precious pugs.
Wow she really cares for that puppy, even tries to help him scare those mean looking wolves, and wants to kiss him when his owner taps him in the back at the end.
I absolutely love the commercial with the puppy and the Clydesdales. I wait every year to see what Budweiser going to come up next with the puppy and the Clydesdale. My favorite one is when the puppy got sold. He barked. His Clydesdale friend heard him. Clydesdale took off. He alerted the other Clydesdales to meet the car on the road. LOVE IT!!!!!!🥰
I remember when this commercial came out right before the Super Bowl and it was amazing! Got a lot of folks watching! I don’t blame him for running to see it, it’s really beautiful!

Dogs help humans survive through cooperation and being a faithful companion. Pigs help humans survive in different ways. Not that pigs can't be friends. It's just a much rarer case. I didn't want to argue with you. It's just my thought. By the way I'm trying to avoid eating meat for the very reason you mentioned.

The kids auditioning for the commercial had been playing & some Pepsi's had been spilled on one kid who was literally dogpiled by the puppies wanting to lick the taste off him.

@G F.There is nothing wrong with horse meat.lots of people ate horse during the depression.I ate horse back in the 70s.I been to Korea and ate dog and cat.Some times a Korean cook house would get a shipment of horse from a relative in the US.I told them the best way to cook horse is slow cook in beer with a little garlic.Buiseness went sky high.Those was old range horses anyways.

We have pugs that would bark and howl when "Arthur" the show on PBS would come on. During the opening song, a dog would bark once, and that set them off. So whenever they heard the song start they would begin to bark and howl.
He's just making sure his buddy gets home safe.

My heart literally the bottom of my feet just seeing the pup trying to stay out of the rain. I even got a tear or two. Maybe that’s why I shouldn’t keep pups, the loss of them depresses me too much.

There are a heap of these videos with dogs watching this commercial, they all bark at the same time, to protect the puppy, it shows how smart dogs are.
We had a Labrador that would bark at dogs on TV. The "Lady and the Tramp" dog fight scene made her go nuts.

Yeah, every year budweiser produces one of these commercials to run during the super bowl. It then runs for a couple weeks on regular T.V. the only exception was the tribute to the 9/11 victims which ran just once during the super bowl and was regarded as the best super bowl ad ever created.
