Lauran thought she lost Bo bc of the Wanderer but she doesn't know that Bo only love her. Whatever, she always think for Bo, sacrifice her time and life for Bo. What a great person to love!!
The Doc is too nice.... i just wondered when is she gonna do something for herself??? Unless sacrificing herself all the time for Bo is what she wants then nothing good is ever gonna happen to her.... #Doccubus
Lauren does not need Bo, it is Bo that needs Lauren. Lauren can easily have another realtionship with another woman and make it work. The problem was Bo and her being Fae, she was too complicated a creature. Lauren will always love her but Lauren knew that their relationship was complicated. The problem was that Bo did not want to see the complications cause all she wanted was Lauren freely and unapologetically. Her denial over their complicated relationship makes her believe in her mind that it was Lauren who broke her heart and it was Lauren who does not want her.
Dyson lied about Aife and Bo slept with him more anyone. You can't love someone and always be in another's bed. Lauren should've countered with that. She probably smelled Dyson and Rainer on Bo respectively. Lauren and Kenzi were both right to walk out on Bo and her double standards.
Lauren did make something of herself: Running her own clinic. And Lauren still chose to get back with Bo. Twice. And Bo was all too eager to take her back.
Lauren is mad as hell at 01:14. Lmao. Probably because Bo was too naive to realize why Lauren had stayed with the Dark, without Lauren having to tell her why she stayed.
Oh god this episode really shits me off. Its all because of one character, Bo. As much as everyone has done stuff in the past that makes them untrustworthy, tell me how The Wanderer is any different? He fucking kidnapped her! She still has no answer to the question "if he didn't kidnap you, what did he do then?" Here is one of her oldest friends telling her that saving him will raise hell itself! Being as that she is supposed to be helpful towards people...yeah Bo is definitely not looking like the better person. Especially since it was her grandfather who sentenced him to becoming the Wanderer in the first place! Even on the aspects of Rainer as a character, we knew NOTHING about Rainer and we STILL know nothing about Rainer, even after he dies! Why would Bo prioritize THIS over helping her best friend come to grips with loosing the man she loves? If she and Kenzi just stayed home, drank themselves to death over the both of them simultaneously loosing someone, none of the finale would've happened! Yes, I'm saying it, if it wasn't for Bo trying to recharge her fuck toy (tell me that wasn't what Rainer was?)...Kenzi would still be alive. Here she is, given all the warning in the world that saving Rainer is hopeless and she decides "nope, my friends of 4 years are idiots, how about the guy who kidnapped me and stole my memory? Yeah, he seems like the more trustworthy person!"
The one thing I'm actually glad for is that they...mostly corrected the problems with this story arc in the next season. I mean this story arc still existed and it had a ripple effect on some of the season later but as far as I can see, Season 5 was sort of like "Season 5: The Apology". Yeah Season 4 of Lost Girl probably has the second worst story arc for a show I like. If you want to know what can possibly beat it...I used to be a fan of Heroes.
Good point! I think in Here Comes The Night, when Bo was about to go on another angry, jealous rant about Evony, Lauren had, had enough and that talk was long overdue. So good point on Season 5 The Apology.
I honestly talked to some people about Season 4 and it was so bad, even Paul Amos called it out on its bullshit (his excuse was the showrunner was just unprepared and a bit unorganised - so it was a mess behind the scenes as well as on camera...thats nice). I also feel that the show really hit its stride in season 5 with the episode Family Portrait. I mean that to me cemented Eric Roberts as one of the best villains this show has ever had (although, sadly, thats not saying much - I didn't mind the Garuda or Evony, they were pretty good and both had scenes which made me believe "the gang might not get out of it alive" and if you can do that with a season villain, you've done your job, but the other two were awful). However, with all the problems Season 4 had, it didn't really get all THAT bad until the reveal of Rainer. Hell, there's even one episode in this season that I'd rate as being one of the top 5 best of the entire show's run (Of All The Gin Joints) so my hatred for this season mostly boils down to The Wanderer having a reveal scene so bad The Mandarin from Iron Man 3 would be calling it a cop out.
The Wanderer was talked about for so long that when he finally showed up it was boring and ridiculous. Just being honest, not particularly knocking the show. Eric Roberts was great and so was Evony.
I love Lost Girl. I love all of the characters and Anna Silk playing Bo. And I must say I loooooved the attraction, desire, love, hurt, angst moment at the end between Bo and Lauren. Doccubus forever! But Bo needs to stop drinking the "koolaid" and see the wool being pulled over her eyes by the Wanderer and this destiny BS. In a way, I understand her confusion. Every ONE of them that claims to love Bo has lied and hidden stuff from her, repeatedly. Hell Trick and Dyson STILL are keeping somethings from her now...siiiiiiiigh! Anyhow, I will keep watching even if they keep pushing Bo's character off the rails like they did Jenny on the L Word. Lost Girl Fan Forever!!
@@shaunh5248 I think it's cause of the break between Lauren and Bo. When Lauren broke it off with Bo, then it made Bo more emotionally vulnerable to being manipulated by Rainer. This is not the same Bo that Lauren fell in love with. This is not the same Lauren that Bo fell in love with. Lauren is stronger and far more confident with herself and as a doctor. Bo didn't understand that and took offense.
Bo liked Rainer because she didn't have to carry the hero burden anymore. Nevermind how that alliance crushed her family. It wasn't important that Lauren was still with the Dark because Bo chose to be Dark and no longer wanted out of her Dark contract as long as Rainer was alive and in her bed. They should've left Evony fae and put her in a relationship with Lauren. Zoie and Emmanuelle had hot chemistry too.
For five episodes she was telling everyone and their mother that she didn't want to be Dark. Then she found Rainer, knew she chose to be Dark and it was suddenly ok. Her family's feelings were nothing to her. She wasn't thinking about tearing it up then. He died and THEN she tore it up. Zoie should've left there was nowhere for them to take Lauren after this episode.
@@shaunh5248 I don't know why Bo waited until Rainer's death to tear up the contract. But the only reason she signed the contract in the first place was to find Rainer. Rainer himself objected to it because he was opposed to the Light-Dark divide. And seriously, why are so many people saying that Rainer is a bad guy? His only "crime" was defying the laws written by the Blood King, (Which, as we learned in the Season 2 Finale, Trick only wrote to save his own neck.). Trick's the reason Rainer was condemned by history. He falsified history to make himself look like a savior, when in reality, he only cared about saving his own neck. He wouldn't even let Tamsin take Rainer's soul to Valhalla. And Rainer wasn't even the one who kidnapped Bo. You say that Bo didn't care how her family felt. That isn't true. She did care, but she did what she thought was for the greater good: To end the tyranny of the Una Mens. Evony and Lauren may have been hot together, but their chemistry wasn't real. Evony is a cold-hearted bitch who wouldn't have hesitated to kill Lauren if it suited her needs. Lauren's heart always belonged to Bo. She was with the Dark only to protect Bo. It's funny how you criticize Bo for everything, yet ignore the fact that Evony was the one who declared all humans "owned" by Fae to be terrorists and then kidnapped Lauren. And she put a monster in Lauren's clinic in Season 5 to "encourage" her to work harder. It was never meant to be a lasting relationship no matter what.
Bo put Rainer above everyone she called family. When did she do that when she was with Dyson or Lauren? He had foresight and didn't tell her Hale and Kenzi were both going to die. That's something huge that she should've been told. But he probably needed to keep that secret so Bo would break his last curse. Kenzi was rightfully upset and left the Fae world. Smart. Everyone did dirt but they weren't always held accountable like Bo did with Lauren. This scene here is stupid because the implication of Lauren only taking on Evony for Bo turned out to be just as useless as Rainer. How could she STILL be so upset with Lauren for not telling her what she was doing? There was no need for Lauren to still be trying to help Bo, she had her fortune teller boyfriend to protect her. Now we'll never know because Rainer dying meant Lauren was instantly Bo's again. Everything Lauren did came out. Everything Dyson and Tamsin did didn't. Evony was never going to kill Lauren. Mostly because she knew how smart Lauren was and it irked Bo. How many humans were there besides Lauren and Kenzi to be killed? We'll never know that either. Unless they were killing humans on the street that were unaware they existed.

Bo tore up her contract in the Season 4 finale.
I just wanted Bo to be consistent but she never was with these writers. You know it's bad when Kenzi left her.
Whhhhyyyyyy?!
