    A fine example of Thierry Escaich's creative improvisational skill and technique and demonstration of this organ's surprising resources. Joe V. can be very proud of the results of his hard work in accomplishing the organ's restoration.

    A wonderful performance. I was taken especially by the quiet opening and closing sections.

      Thank you. The organ is amazing with what it could do, you could not believe how AWFUL it use to sound.

    Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiæ,
    vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra, salve.
    Ad te clamamus exsules filii Hevæ.
    Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
    in hac lacrimarum valle.
    Eia, ergo, advocata nostra, illos tuos
    misericordes oculos ad nos converte;
    Et Jesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui,
    nobis post hoc exsilium ostende.
    O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.

    I thought I heard sounds of Litanies by Alain. Anyone notice that?

      Not especially Litanies, but for sure he used Alain chord progressions technique. Best improvisations from mr. Escaich of all.
