Hi Brea. I love watching your videos. Even though our ages are decades apart, we have a lot of similarities. I hope one day you can start to view seasonal sadness as a "season of quiet cultivation | fertile darkness | a nurturing void | season of hidden growth". Try not to feel as if it is sadness or disconnection. We are always connected to our souls/god/universe/whatever you believe. Look at it as if your soul is asking you to embrace the solitude and feelings of unclear void. It is in these times that I get really quiet, I close myself off from the outside world and I pay attention to and focus on the seeds of intention that I've planted in my heart. On the days I feel dark or lonely or sad or unclear or gloomy or just BLAH (because usually the feeling is unexplainable), I use that time to go into a more meditative state where I embrace that solitude and I focus on the faith (which only has to be the size of a mustard seed, which is tiny as hell) that I have in whatever projects/seeds/intentions that I've recently planted. I promise you, if you start looking at it that way (it takes practice over and over), in the morning (metaphorically speaking) your inspiration/motivation/clear direction/ideas will flood through your open heart and open mind. Look at these moments as very peaceful moments where things you've planted in your heart are trying to take root. Ok, let me go finish your vide :)
@AdrenaMonic wow i really did need this comment at this very moment!!! thank you so much 💞 this is something that i'm screenshotting to reread all of this season. It's such a great perspective to have and you have no idea how much this means to me!
@BrynnD omg wait i didn't know this!!! but based on how many botm books are in second hand stores i feel like some of their subscribers might forget that too 😂
@AdrenaMonic thank you for watching! i know sometimes i'm bringing the vibe down but making videos and saying these things out loud really does help sometimes. Sending you so much love back!!!
@@breaavril You didn't bring the vibe down not one bit. You make us smile no matter what you say. Authenticity and vulnerability is beautiful girl. Don't be hard on yourself. We'll be standing by for your next vlog. 🤎
I’m also sort of in a book slump as well, just as I’m getting to my reading goal of 45 books for the year, currently at 41. I started “The Women” by Kristin Hannah and I’m halfway but it’s sad 😭😭 so I took a break. I decided to read something fast paced so I picked up “The Housemaid’s Secret” by Freida McFadden just to kind of read something quick and simple lol and so far it’s kind of working to get me out of my slump.

I just got my first book of the month box. You can skip the month if the titles for that particular month doesn’t interest you. 15:40
