I think Newcastle will do well against Spurs high line. I am tempted to hold Isak and Gordon for that game and then selling one, although they have Wolves after!

I’m seriously tempted in using my wildcard in GW3 to get Palmer in. Can get smith rowe and Rogers in as well. I'd have a midfield of Saka, Jota, Palmer, ESR and Rogers. Haaland and Isak as forwards. Most likely a knee-jerk reaction, but I feel having Palmer seems like a must to me EDIT: I would have to give up Eze and Muniz to do this WC. Any thoughts from people, feel free 👍
While Palmer did play great I would also just tell you to consider holding that WC, yeah the haul for Palmer was great but in all honesty those 3 assists and his goal where moreso down to really poor goal keeping more than good finishing. However if youve had to already use your free transfers to plug other holes in the team and still have multiple players you want to ship out it may be worth doing.
@@sagarc5810 That’s a fair comment. For me, Palmer is the heartbeat of the Chelsea team just like last season. All the attack goes through him and they have decent fixtures. Am slightly worried with him and European football, but that’s the risk I’ll take. Plus I do feel I’ll make more changes as well across my defence and goalkeeper. Appreciate your opinion
@@adamrushton88I would hang on a week mate. After GW3 it is the international break. You don't really want to go into the break with a new squad, with injuries that could happen etc... Plus it gives you 2 weeks to think and dwell on all your decisions. Then you could come into GW4 after the break with a fully fit squad that you know you are completely happy with. It just seems the wrong time going into the break. All the best with your decision and its outcome.
I’ve already wildcarded, it is a risk but it could work out well if luck is on your side with injuries. Smith-Rowe and Rogers look like amazing value and you can put Pedro and Dunk on your bench for Brightons good upcoming fixtures. A few players that are good for a wildcard now are also due a price increase, so it’s an opportunity to get some team value. I also think Palmer is one of the best options for captain GW3, so Salah over Haaland makes a lot of sense to me. Obvious bad thing about that is it’ll be difficult to get back to Haaland when the fixtures swing, so will need to roll transfers
Debating selling Isak for Jackson. Really think Newcastle are going to struggle this season and their fixtures over the next 10 or so weeks are poor. Chelsea are going to score plenty this season
Same I’m a hardcore Chelsea fan and I wouldn’t trust Jackson (it’s very likely we get Oshimen) And if you watch Chelsea properly.. for the whole 90mins, you will see he makes ALOTTTT of MISTAKES!
Pissed I didn't go with my gut and didn't captain Son instead of Salah. I knew he would deliver at home against Everton who had loads of injuries in defence, especially with Solanke's injury. Should've been morr aggressive
Every FPL content creator 'I'll hold my hands up, I thought Nkunku was going to get more minutes but now he's a dead option' Literally heard this same line 3 times now.
Very similar team to yours and made the early Nkunku to Rogers move an hour ago. Want to preserve team value in the early weeks and it opens up more budget
95 with no Haaland. Son did me wonders, along with double Arsenal defence again. Also special mention to ESR and Gordon both bagging me 10 points. 9/11 players returned, it was only my 2 strikers who didn’t return!!
seeing so many people wildcard and go for Salah/Haaland with loads of enablers, whats your thoughts on it long term? seems risky relying on 4x4.5mil defenders and Rogers/ESR/J.Pedro everyweek
Great video mate, I can see your joy for FPL. You don't get too down because you know deep down inside you made informed decisions, even if they don't go your way. Keep up the positivity!
95 points with no Haaland. Ranked 57k. I’ve made a big mistake though… I’ve used my transfer already. Last night 😢. Brought in Saka ahead of his price rise. I regret not being able to roll it now though… I had Gordon. Nice fixtures, dunno what I was thinking. I need saka on my GW6 wildcard though so maybe catching that .1 will make all the difference
I think it would be nice addition to you vids, would be to take a look at your mini league, maybe have a look at their team and who they went with. And give a shout out to who is top of the league and maybe who got the most points in that gamweek.
put up 92 points this week captained Cold Palmer. Need Watkins to pick it up to justify my mega midfield no Haaland no Salah Strat TAA- Porro- Gabriel -Jota-Son-Palmer-Saka-Bowen - Watkins- Wood
As a non haaland owner I think j having palmer is very crucial As most haaland owners cannot afford him , he can be that big differential vs haaland owners
Triple captained Haaland, so got 92 pts, but 5 players blanked! I made 2 transfers for gw3. Removed Nkunku & Isak for Rogers & Watkins. Still got Eze, but he’s been a bit unlucky not to return. I have Henderson but I think he will be changed with my gw 4 or 6 WC. Only other one to blank was Hall coming off the bench, which was unfortunate as I had Robinson on my bench, if Hall didn’t get subbed on. I know Watkins hasn’t done much, but he’s had more mins now, and fixtures are better than the first 2 games. Isak will score goals, I transferred him out cause I feel Newcastle isn’t doing as well as I thought they would. Good chance he will be brought back in at some point. I probably won’t do it, but you can get a good team with Son, Palmer, Saka side, maybe instead of a Salah or Haaland team, what you think?
In preseason I planned to swap Porro+Solanke+0,5m to Konsa+Watkins in gw3. But Solanke's injury had quite a knock-on effect for me. On Saturday he was projected to drop, so I had to execute the plan early without the info of the Sunday games, to avoid getting priced out. I then ended up taking a hit today to move J. Murphy to Rogers. Without the injury or the expected price drop, I would have simply waited and then moved J. Murphy+Isak to Rogers+Watkins without a hit. Meanwhile Solanke still hasn't dropped. Let's hope Isak returns big in the coming weeks so I don't regret it too much.
Debating on rolling my transfer even though Nkunku might drop in price. I already have Robinson and I’m hesitant to double up on FUL. The other 6.5< don’t entice me so much.
I have to replace Nkuku with young Madueke (very risky move) for 3 reason. 1. I can't take another price drop after Quansa as I still keep him. 2. I need to benefit from Chelsea attack due coming good fixtures. Madueke is good to benefit from price rise and am sure he is fighting his place with him need to score more goals. 3. Can't afford Palmer even I have 3 million in the bank. My other MIDs are solid, Salah, Jota, Saka, Smith. So, néed change change to 3-5-2 as havert and isaq will and solenke as sub as he still doubtful to play. Will see how b4 deadline
Started with a salah draft. Seen solanke was injured sold salah for smith rowe and bought haaland. Triple captained him. Now im in top 6k in the world. Wild week. Love your videos keep up the good work
I've had a great 1st 2 gameweeks. GW1 I scored 75 points and this week I've scored 89! Had both Smith Rowe and Gordon who between them got me 20 points! Haaland as my captain! Areola did me a favour in getting a clean sheet so it meant Gvardiol blanking didn't matter as much. I held onto my free transfer from GW1 which has given me 2 free transfers for GW3. I've taken out Isak and Garnacho and brought in both Jackson and Madueke from Chelsea...like the look of their fixtures and they do look mighty good going forward so I think it's worth doubling up on them, not got Palmer as I've gone for Saka. Team is looking very balanced atm
suggest go down with Nkunku or sideways to Madueke that hatrick should lift everyone but of you go down you might release enough funds that if Eze doesn't improve you can go to Palmer - if he stays in the middle with Madueke on the wing they would be good HOWEVER Ait Nori being pulled out of position for each of Maduekes goals all 3 goals were 2 on 1 overlaps which should never happen in a good defence.
Much as sometimes it looks bad right now, if you didn't get say 85+ points. One thing i learnt from your channel is patience and consistency. Got 71. No chips played. Håland and Salah in my team. 2FT. Time to zone in and think.
My Salah team scored 88, tho I did have Saka, Palmer, ASM Jao Pedro plus Raya in goal. Raya has been a great decision. Benching Jacob Murphy was the correct call - already sold for Rogers.
I got 68 points. I rolled my transfer in game week 2. I did Solanke Joao Pedro after the United game and I have £2 mill in the bank. Quansah and Barco are next on my list with 1 free transfer left. And it frees up Isak to Watkins if needed also Eze is an issue also.
@@FPLRaptor i own haaland,salah,trent..now saka..i think these 4 are must haves in your team throughout the seaon..build the rest of the team around them..but ye cant own everyone...what i am missing is porro..looking to downgrade isak and bring in poro now
@@FPLRaptor I have Saliba, Gabriel and Robinson…from GW1…they have done ok and Smith Rowe and Jota have done better than Saka and Nkunku up to now, even without Eze - I’m on 180 points. The point I’m making is you are trying to rationale having either is ok, but both is better.
As it stands, it's not Haaland vs Salah that determines your rank the most, it's the players you picked alongside. My first 11 is almost identical to yours, but with Gibbs-White over Eze I only dropped from 150k to 900k. So it's all still really close, next week it could easily swing the other way again.
I did give Haaland the Top Cat but guy, you’re speaking my mind. Did Solanke to Muniz too, worse still, left Gordon on the bench because of his away record… can’t complain with 93, the tonny would have been nice this early though haha.
Can you rate my team ? Flekken Konsa Gabriel Robinson Rogers smith-rowe gibbs-white palmer salah Haaland Armstrong Bench fabianski VVD joao Pedro Mosquer
Wild carding to a haaland + salah draft. I normally use first wildcard around gw 5/6, but right now i see huge benefits to doing an early swap to salah + haaland
TC Haaland. 93 points. I had Quansah and Barco in my GW2 team, and I had to wait for 2 transfers to make any changes. Haaland TC was my attempt to stay competitive.
GW3 transfers; Watkins/Minteh in, Solanke/Gordon out. I already have Rogers who will start for me going forward. Minteh rotates well with Muniz as my 8th attacker.
Hi FPL Raptor. What about this team? Want you advice and input..... Raya, Valdirmasson, Gvardiol, Robinson, Trent, Colwil, Faes, Son, Saka, Palmer, Salah, Rogers, Muniz, Perdo, Jebbison
I got 69 points this week as a Salah owner. The Solanke injury forced me to play Joao Pedro, which worked out. I did Nkunku and Solanke to Watkins and Rogers last night, expecting a price drop... Looking at my team next week, my head says Captain Watkins... but idk...
This was a pretty tough week and I definitely rushed some subs. Even though Watkins has great fixtures, he's been underwhelming and his price slightly drags my team down so i swapped in welbeck and then barco (due to loan) to get saliba in. Also put robinson for davis. Next week has more rough fixtures so hopefully this risk pays off (without the wildcard)
78 points with Salah as captain and no Haaland-feeling pretty good about that! However, Nkunku was a real letdown. I'm concerned about his minutes after playing in the Europa Conference qualifier; he only got around 60 minutes before being subbed and a cameo today. With the second leg coming up, I'm tempted to swap him for Madueke, who was Chelsea’s standout player in preseason.
I originally was gonna bring in Solanke if he is fit for Muniz or Isak but after seeing Rogers play + Aston Villa's next few games i want to bring in rogers for either Eze or Gordon, undecided right now.
was rank 10k last week now rank 430k! shows how topsy turvy things are at the start of the season! still very happy with my start, it's a marathon not a sprint!
Agree that losing Solanke was gut-wrenching as he was bought for this game. Already had ASM so opted for Pedro over Muniz. Isak to Watkins looking likely! Also have the funds to upgrade Wood to Watkins!
Hey raptor! What are your opinions on getting rid of Saka and Fernandes for Salah and Rogers + 1 mil in the bank? Saka's fixtures don't look good until gameweek 6, and thats when I am planning on wildcarding.
Thanks again for all the great content Ross. Considering I don't have Haaland not a terrible week so far although far from the best. 67 points for me although my mate in my mini league triple captained him. Annoyed to have benched Aina for his 9 pointer but I feel like it was the right decision. Now I just have to decide who to bench from Smith Rowe Wood Isak and Bailey. Leaning towards wood at the moment although wolves looked poor against Chelsea. Brilliant as always Ross.
after how well Salah and Haaland have gone I also thought i’d be laughing. Only ranked 1.2m. You’re spot on that you have to make sacrifices and it’s your entire squad that counts not just those two players.
Hi all, I got 100 points this week after 45 pointer in the GW1 thanks to Haaland (C), Son, Gordon, and Romero unexpected returns aswell. Thinking of Nkunku/CHO to Mbuemo and Rogers as I have two free transfers aswell.
I'm without Haaland too and this GW is a horror show. I've got Palmer to the rescue and Salah+Jota doing decently to save me to be in 1.6m from 600k first week. I'm also gutted by Solanke being out and got Mateta in. Not working out plus Nkunku being a massive minutes risk but we all well know that it could happen. I'm selling him for Semenyo now for secure of minutes. Hopefully things only get better from now on.
My plan is to use my 2 FT. Looks like Watkins is close to a price fall so I will wait for him to fall as I think he is not fit and fully expect him to be back next week to his best. There is the villa swing incoming so I have just done Nkunku to Rogers (impressed by him) And will do isak to Watkins when Watkins price falls already 😊
Missed out on 14 points as I thought I had tripled captained Haaland but had tripled captained Salah. Still got 96 points for the week but kicking myself at my incompetence.
78 points each week I'm at 156 used no chips and my 2 villa players and isak haven't given me anything but they have good fixtures now gonna wild card week 8 and hold hope
Scored 100 points this week without triple captaining Haaland. Tempted to do Wildcard strategy, feels like a lot of people are thinking of Wildcards now. Perhaps with the view that we can stack up to 5 transfers now. I want to utilise the position I’m in now by going strong for next week onwards.
I have smith-rowe and Rogers. I really want to remove nkunku before a price drop however as you say looking at the options there isn’t much appeal considering I have salah + Halaand so the budget isn’t there and now mitoma is 6.6, now I’m almost tempted to move to madueke although looks a knee jerk but then you have the same minutes risk down the line ughhh FPL is so stressful!
Consider my self lucky this week as last season captained Haarland and got nothing so really pleased with my best ever game week score of 109…. All down hill now though !!
Want to do Nkunku to rogers and Fernandes to palmer..to enable that I can either do wood to Muniz or gvardiol to konsa/Robinson. Which enabling move out of those should I do?
got Roger's and baily and excited for fixture swing baily hit post week 1 and Roger's should of had assist would u start ben Johnson over pedro I have isak and Haaland as other forwards
If there is one thing I learned last season. On so many occasions I dumped underperforming players. Then they go 'bang'. Diaby, Mbeumo, Gross all come to mind last year. I would love to dump Izak, Fernandes, Muniz who have yet to put out a yelp. Alas I'll hold and roll my transfer again. Thanks for the video.
Gambling with Ndiaye still hasn’t started for Everton yet and plays Bournemouth in Gw3. Thinking of transferring him for evanilson from Bournemouth. Any thoughts from you guys?
I have Eze and Garnacho and no idea how they only have 9 pts between them so far. Garnacho misses a sitter GW1 then has a goal ruled out in such a bizarre way thanks to Zirkzee. Thankfully I triple capt Haaland this week to end on 95.

EDIT: I would have to give up Eze and Muniz to do this WC.
Gutting Isak instead of Muniz gives you the 2.0 you need to retain Eze over one of either ESR or Rogers
Debating selling Isak for Jackson. Really think Newcastle are going to struggle this season and their fixtures over the next 10 or so weeks are poor. Chelsea are going to score plenty this season
As a chelsea fan, I wouldn't trust Jackson
Dropped Isak for Havertz, don't trust Isak
Same I’m a hardcore Chelsea fan and I wouldn’t trust Jackson (it’s very likely we get Oshimen)
And if you watch Chelsea properly.. for the whole 90mins, you will see he makes ALOTTTT of MISTAKES!
I went Nkunku to Gibbs White who has Wolves at home this week and solid fixtures after.
Solanke to mateta even though I planned on rolling. I then proceeded to start mateta over esr 🤦🏿♂️
Solanke might play, I would roll to be honest.
@@ITSYUNO1too late. That’s what I did for gw 2. Esr’s was my first sub and I started mateta.
Pulled trigger early. Nkunku to Mitoma. Benching him this week as have 7 other strong attackers and have him ready for 2 plum fixtures
Hit the triple cap, felt for you when I saw the score haha
Hahaha it's all good bro, these weeks happen in FPL
seeing so many people wildcard and go for Salah/Haaland with loads of enablers, whats your thoughts on it long term? seems risky relying on 4x4.5mil defenders and Rogers/ESR/J.Pedro everyweek
Great video mate, I can see your joy for FPL. You don't get too down because you know deep down inside you made informed decisions, even if they don't go your way. Keep up the positivity!
Aw mate this made my morning, thank you!
Nkunku and Salah to Palmer and Diogo Jota or for Saka and Diogo Jota or leave as it is? Could also do just Nkunku to Rogers. Thoughts??
Since when did Spurs become a hard fixture in terms of attacking returns for Arsenal?
I think it would be nice addition to you vids, would be to take a look at your mini league, maybe have a look at their team and who they went with. And give a shout out to who is top of the league and maybe who got the most points in that gamweek.
henderson and nkunku to raya and mitoma. what do you think? i already have rogers
I prefer alisson for the next fixtures
like it honestly can get palmer or son from that budget elsewhere too
Mitoma has horrible fixtures coming.
put up 92 points this week captained Cold Palmer. Need Watkins to pick it up to justify my mega midfield no Haaland no Salah Strat TAA- Porro- Gabriel -Jota-Son-Palmer-Saka-Bowen - Watkins- Wood
As a non haaland owner I think j having palmer is very crucial
As most haaland owners cannot afford him , he can be that big differential vs haaland owners
82 points without Haaland, damage limitation was successful. 2 transfers in the bank & my teams setup well for the upcoming gws, not too bad at all.
Dropped to 6.4 just before I went to sell him, super...
Bruno +Solanke -> Watkins and Rogers. Gunna wild card soon so want to attack the great Villa fixtures
G'day from Australia triple Haaland 82 points in total
Pretty poor, I have 82 pts and kept my chips
Just sold Murphy to noni cus it sets me up for my ideal wildcard👍
Wild week. Love your videos keep up the good work
Amazing work mate!
My son has no Haaland or Salah but scored 94 points this week. There’s no right or wrong way to play; do it your way.
After reading this, you're right! I'm going to go bold and play my WC in order to get Palmer in
Good job you had Son.
My Son got 32 points this week!
Heung Min Son😛
82 without Haaland or Salah
Brilliant stuff!
71 Points Gw2
Haaland C (Salah + Jota + Trent in my team)
Defence is not the best
763k drop in rank
2 weeks i have scored above 70
Much as sometimes it looks bad right now, if you didn't get say 85+ points. One thing i learnt from your channel is patience and consistency.
Got 71. No chips played. Håland and Salah in my team. 2FT. Time to zone in and think.
I've wildcarded already, Ross. Shouldn't play the game while drunk and angry about the Wolves score 🤣
Season's gone to pot after GW2
On the bright side the game is much more fun when you play catch-up. Remember we only count points at season end!
Saying Haaland and Salah have score the same is missing that I have both and captained Salah first week and TC Haaland second week…
And you saying that is missing that you probably didn't own one or more from Trent, Saka, Palmer, Son, Porro etc. Can't own everyone!
@@FPLRaptor 180 and top 16.5k, not arguing just saying that Salah and Haaland teams are better…at the moment.
My GW2 score was 115 - A cheeky triple captain and a few goals. from my squad..x
Flekken
Konsa Gabriel Robinson
Rogers smith-rowe gibbs-white palmer salah
Haaland Armstrong
Bench fabianski VVD joao Pedro Mosquer
Wild carding to a haaland + salah draft. I normally use first wildcard around gw 5/6, but right now i see huge benefits to doing an early swap to salah + haaland
I think the only chelsea forward thats nailed on is Palmer. The other 3 spots are gonna be heavily rotated. From a Chelsea fan.
TC Haaland. 93 points. I had Quansah and Barco in my GW2 team, and I had to wait for 2 transfers to make any changes. Haaland TC was my attempt to stay competitive.
Put onana insyead of rogers in for my wildcard last gw... whay was i thinking
GW3 transfers; Watkins/Minteh in, Solanke/Gordon out. I already have Rogers who will start for me going forward. Minteh rotates well with Muniz as my 8th attacker.
After watching your video about the pros and cons of triple captaining Halaand, it was a no brainer for me. Thank you for the eye opener.
Hi FPL Raptor. What about this team? Want you advice and input.....
Raya, Valdirmasson,
Gvardiol, Robinson, Trent, Colwil, Faes,
Son, Saka, Palmer, Salah, Rogers,
Muniz, Perdo, Jebbison
Went from Nkunku to ESR to add some money into the bank so that I can go from Bruno to Foden or Son. Or upgrade Isak...
Palmer got me 30 as my captain
Respect
Why is his price falling down though ?
Maybe people are freeing up money for haaland? Idk
I captained son and also have Palmer, no haaland or salah
It won't be falling by tomorrow. So people were selling him after gw 1 and now he's retired them 🤣
was rank 10k last week now rank 430k! shows how topsy turvy things are at the start of the season! still very happy with my start, it's a marathon not a sprint!
Hello raptor already did nkunku to gibbs white , you think it was good move ?
What’s better. Solanke & minted out for Joao Pedro and mbuemo for -4 or use my 1 FT for solanke to wissa
after how well Salah and Haaland have gone I also thought i’d be laughing.
Cheers mate! Needed that reassurance about Nkunku to Rogers :) Transfer done and locked. Still 1 FT in the bank. Feel comfortable with this move.
Benching dilemma. Need to pick three of Muniz smith rowe eze or rogers.
Happy to hang onto isak, fixture against spurs may even be worth a captain, high line would be the type of match that suits him.
Hey Ross, would you do bruno to KDB and nkunku to ESR? 2FT
My plan is to use my 2 FT.
Looks like Watkins is close to a price fall so I will wait for him to fall as I think he is not fit and fully expect him to be back next week to his best. There is the villa swing incoming so I have just done
Nkunku to Rogers (impressed by him)
And will do isak to Watkins when Watkins price falls already 😊
Missed out on 14 points as I thought I had tripled captained Haaland but had tripled captained Salah. Still got 96 points for the week but kicking myself at my incompetence.
78 points each week I'm at 156 used no chips and my 2 villa players and isak haven't given me anything but they have good fixtures now gonna wild card week 8 and hold hope
Hey Raptor! at least salah got some returns. Glad i own Haaland tho :)
No Salah no Haaland and I end on 64 this week😁🙏🏼
I also already have nedelkjovic as my 4m def😊
no salah or haaland i ended on 80. Not bad tbh, planned for Salah GW4
Same ..I'm on 65
Scored 100 points this week without triple captaining Haaland. Tempted to do Wildcard strategy, feels like a lot of people are thinking of Wildcards now. Perhaps with the view that we can stack up to 5 transfers now. I want to utilise the position I’m in now by going strong for next week onwards.
94, rolled the transfer and kept the faith after a sub par week 1
I have smith-rowe and Rogers. I really want to remove nkunku before a price drop however as you say looking at the options there isn’t much appeal considering I have salah + Halaand so the budget isn’t there and now mitoma is 6.6, now I’m almost tempted to move to madueke although looks a knee jerk but then you have the same minutes risk down the line ughhh FPL is so stressful!
Consider my self lucky this week as last season captained Haarland and got nothing so really pleased with my best ever game week score of 109…. All down hill now though !!
I'm 203k got 65 points.didn't use tc on haaland but instead picked foden as my C and haaland as my VC so got bit lucky there
18:54 Jacob Murphy 😂
Jacob Ramsey raptor 😅🤧
Would you include Diaz in your midfield watch list if you didn’t have 3 Liverpool players?
Maybe, although I still prefer my 3
Gambling with Ndiaye still hasn’t started for Everton yet and plays Bournemouth in Gw3. Thinking of transferring him for evanilson from Bournemouth. Any thoughts from you guys?
116 with Areola, Saliba, Gabriel, Saka, Salah, Smith Rowe, Soucek, Pedro, Haaland TC all returning
Game week 1 53 points game week 2 83 points (no triple caption) not the best start
I have Eze and Garnacho and no idea how they only have 9 pts between them so far. Garnacho misses a sitter GW1 then has a goal ruled out in such a bizarre way thanks to Zirkzee. Thankfully I triple capt Haaland this week to end on 95.
