    Thanks for sharing your little seedlings. I think next time maybe adding a picture on the screen of what the plant will look like when fully grown would add a little extra visual interest.

      Thank you for watching and for your suggestion! We definitely wanted to do that, but that would have taken a lot more time in editing, and with the kids home, their education comes first❤️ we did the best we could!

      SILVERTONGUE DAYWALKER we got our stay at home order yesterday morning. But we have been staying home for quite a while now. Our Home Depot‘s are still open and we can still get delivery and pick up. I hope you are staying healthy over there! The numbers keep going up here in the US, but our state of Wisconsin isn’t too big in numbers. We’ve been just trying to stay away from it all

    Could you tell me more about the cypress vine plant? Did you grow it last year and do you direct sow it?? Do you let it grow over a trellis or fence? If you have any photos I would love to see it! Thanks!😊

    • @TheLawrenceGardenFarm
      @TheLawrenceGardenFarm  4 года назад +1

      you could directly seed them if you wanted, but we wanted to have some plants already started for one of our trellises. It’s the homemade trellis that Jason made last season by our fire pit. We just love the Fern like looking leaves on it! It also gets flowers.

    Hi Casey, love your videos! What brand vermiculite do you use for your seed starting? The kind I have is so teeny tiny that when I water my seedlings they easily wash away and it seems pointless.

  • @cindylouwho7667
    @cindylouwho7667 4 года назад +1

    Do you find that planting the millet grass that the birds enjoy is a problem with them bothering any of your other veggies ?
    And how much larger do you let the snapdragons get before thinning? I way overseeded😂

    • @TheLawrenceGardenFarm
      @TheLawrenceGardenFarm  4 года назад

      CindyLouWho no we don’t find that the birds bother any of our veggies. If you have problems with birds bothering some of your veggies, you could always put a little bit of netting over them. I don’t thin my snapdragons. I actually go into discussion about this in the live video we did last night. Unless that was you that asked the question🤣😂

    I'm pretty much a first timer seed starter.. how long do u leave things like tomatoes and peppers in those little seed starting trays.. the one I have like a 72 cell 22" tray so they are pretty small. Do u wait for a couple true leaves? I'm just nervous the cells are so small

  • @julieblauvelt1649
    @julieblauvelt1649 4 года назад +1

    You use the smallest cells for seed planting- can I ask why or what the benefits are for using such a small cell? How often do you need transplant those before they are planted outside?

    • @TheLawrenceGardenFarm
      @TheLawrenceGardenFarm  4 года назад

      Julie Blauvelt I like starting them this way because we have such a successful germination rate, they also grow such a nice root system before putting them up. It also conserves space that the seedlings take up. We bump them up once before the garden Into flats of 36 or 48.👍

    • @julieblauvelt1649
      @julieblauvelt1649 4 года назад

      The Lawrence Garden Farm it would be really awesome to see how you transplant from those tiny cells to the next level. I love the space saving option!
