@@MatthewNY94 that’s right, his subconscious was what led him to start thinking that jimmy didn’t really kill Keith (he even tells Peyton two episodes later he doesn’t think jimmy really killed Keith). His subconscious wasn’t wrong though all he had to do after that was figure out who really killed Keith.

Because this was all Lucas' subconcious. Keith couldn't tell him anything that Lucas didn't already know or suspect.
