Sadly the popularity of ZWO‘s ASIair and its ZWO equipment only policy is crushing competition and small innovative companies like this one. I too don’t like it and use a Quieter3 along with NINA. It saddens me that people aren’t willing to put in the tiny amount of extra effort required to set up a mini computer and give themselves so much more flexibility. Nice video with clear explanation and instructions. Thanks.

Hi Martin, great review. I wonder if there is a fitting for a smaller scope such as c6. They list one company as a uk distributor but their search says product not found. Actually zwo products are pushed to the exclusion of all else. Not very good for competitors.

@@stephenc1111 Hi Stephen. I can ask for you if you wish. Yeah, ZWO have a tight grip on the market, and the ASIair makes it even tighter.

Looks like a well thought out product... Might reach out to them, to see if they do a kit for meade's SCTs

Thank you for the review. Will this work with an ASIair, or do you need to use NINA?

No, ASIair will only work with ZWO products. NINA would be the way to go.

@@martinsastrophotography Thanks. In a prior video you reviewed the ZWO CAA, and you have ZWO cameras. Which computer are you using to run Nina?

@ I use a Mele Quieter 3C (or 4C). These are low cost, very small fanless mini PC’s running Windows and they work great! I have never had an issue with them.

Nice product, but looks like its around £300, nearly double the price of an EAF 😥

@@edjones3390 Yes, It is about £100 more. I guess if you need/want the clutch feature and/or the more compact design, and you don’t use ASIair then it’s worth the extra money.
