    My dad at one point built miters for H,E, i remember as a toung boy going to his race shop!! The morors was called L&T racing engines!! Which stood for Lonnie & Tim which was my dad!! Great memories for sure and won many races beating malcut dramie cornertt and whatever else anyone brought to the track in those days!! Thanks uncle Lonnie and especially u dad whos no longer with us sadly gone but never forgotten!!

    Buddy Rodgers,H E Vineyard, Jack Trammel , i cut my teeth on this stuff. it is amazing to see how much its grown. Bloomquist has made an empire since these days.

      There's talks about bringing back the wedge Cars to one of the local tracks near me

    I miss Atomic. Best dirt track in the south. Should have never been sold.

    H.E. was the best in this era he has great stories from this time in his life now three heart surgeries later he still will out work most people we have to tell him to slow down or he will mess his body up even more but love these old races

    Old one lane Atomic. Not much passing going on at that track in that era, mostly follow the leader.

      Yes Day racing has not changed much from that era to todays era of day racing.

    Purvis, Bloomquist, Skip Arp maybe (can't see real good), big names at this race.
