Very helpful! I'm new to this world and have my eye on Viberg's Service Boots. I'm a Brannock 11 D or M right foot, 10.5 D or M, left. Not too high or low arch/instep with pretty straight (not splayed toes), average heel, not meaty feet. I've been torturing between the 2030 and 1035 lasts. At this price point it's uncomfortable not to be able to try them on before you commit. I understand that with Viberg you're supposed to order one full size down from Brannock which would put me at a 10 E so there's no inward pressure on my big toes. Your video has me leaning towards 2030. Would you agree? Many thanks!

Welcome! Yeah, there’s no guarantee until you try it, but yes: definitely seems like starting with a Viberg 2030 in size 10 would be the best. Find a place with a good return policy. Do you need shop recommendations?

@@thevintagefuture6567 One other thing, I see that some of the 2030s you can get in either D or E. Also one complaint I've heard about the 2030s is the tendency to push in on the pinkie toe. Better to go wider with the E? Thanks!

Yes, best to start with E. It’s the known factor. The D version is fairly new and has mixed reviews; best to only try it if you’re already familiar with the E. E will fit most people anyways. The E fit me fine; my issue was more with the toe shape than it was the width.

I can’t remember what return policies these shops have, but the ones I would start with would be: Withered Fig, Brooklyn Clothing Co in Calgary, Freenote Cloth, Viberg .com…..There’s also Rivet and Hide in the UK

Thank you for this, this is helpful! I think the 2020 last will probably work best for me. Do you know why Viberg doesn't sell 2020 lasted boots on their website? I'm trying to figure out where I can find some.

Division Road has some great ones right now. But make sure you know your Brannock size using a Brannock device before you buy anything from them, otherwise they will size you too small.

@@thevintagefuture6567 Gotcha, thank you! Unfortunately it doesn't look like they have my size in stock, but I'll continue to keep an eye out. Appreciate the response.

Very helpful, thanks. I wish the 2045 was easier to find
Actually just looked online and viberg says the 1035 is a E width, I think I might need the 2055.

Great information. Btw, How do you like the fit says 2020 compared to 2030? Your 2020 is 0.5 size smaller than 2030 tho

If you want more info, you can check out my longer Viberg last comparison video…2020 is much narrower and more anatomical. It mimics the shape of the foot. 2030 is a bit boxy and shapeless by comparison. If you like a glove like fit, 2020 is better. If you like some room, 2030 is better. But 2030 isn’t good if your. If toes splay outward or go straight forward. I have another 2020 in size 10. I can wear both, but prefer the 10 for some extra room.

Looks like I’m a 2020 that’s if similar to the Trubalance.
