    amazing week for Saisai. 4 of 5 matches she had to play against players that are know for making strong shots (Collins, Anisimova, Sakkari and Sabalenka), but her tactic of making a lot of extra balls and have few unforced errors, eventually frustrated them. Nice job.

    • @shngain100
      @shngain100 5 лет назад +2

      Sakkari isn't really that of a power ball basher but compared to Zheng she's a lot powerful with her shots. Although Saisai had an amazing week and was able to outstand and outwit them all.

    I went in rooting for sabalenka, and came away disgusted with her and will never root for her again after that disrespectful to Zheng, shit-handshake at the net at the end of a championship match. A spoiled and sore-losing slap of her opponents hand, that even the trophy presenter noticed. She lost a lot of people’s respect.

    @6:22, shouldn't such hand shake be fined for "unsportsman-like" conduct? Even though she may have been just ticked off by her own bad performance and nothing personal against Zheng.

    • @duaruatolu9248

      Duarua Tolu lol is that your defence? Haha peeved at her player box or team or whatever, you lost a final played fair and square. Atleast be gracious ind great and sort out your team later. Awful shameful behaviour

    • @romeredubost6971
      @romeredubost6971 5 лет назад +2

      No , not a fine needed, she will lose respect among her fellow players and lose respect and good wishes of fans

    • @j-tallica1188
      @j-tallica1188 5 лет назад +1

      She can be mad at her box as much as she wants, just DON'T take out your frustration on the opponent, you lost, lose with Grace and good sportsmanship and actually shake hands,say "Good match,congratulations" and accept your defeat.

    What a cold handshake from Sabalenka. It’s not even a handshake. Her lack of sportsmanship is sickening. She should learn how to be graceful in defeat (even it’s only on the surface).

    I watched tennis because it is enjoyable and exciting to see the talent of players. But most importantly I like to see the game of tennis played out at it's best by these players. Congrats to Saisai Zheng, Sabalenka needs to grow up and learn to play with some class to do justice to the game. ...too loud the screaming...and grunting..

  • @tennisblood
    @tennisblood 5 лет назад +5

    The least likely winner. She was really lucky against Anisimova and should have lost that match in 2, if Anisimova was 100% healthy. But Zheng's great fighting spirit is an inspiration to all.

    This Belarusian girl needs to be taught some lessons in sportsmanship. Lol. And also to cut down on her annoying noises that she makes on the courts. With that kind of grim attitude she's just going to be another tennis player who was in the top ten like Patty Schnyder.

    • @FlabbyTitmuss
      @FlabbyTitmuss 5 лет назад +1

      Schynder was vastly more talented than Sabalenka. Sabalenka is just an enormous, heavy 'woman' who can hit the ball hard.

    Sabalenka's game suits hard courts well, yet her game is so easily broken down by players.
    They were hyping her up to win the AO after she won Wuhan & Zhuhai. In interviews back then, they fed the hype & she believed it. No wonder she is bitter & frustrated losing matches on her best surface

    Tbh, when Sabby came on to the big scene, I thought she would blow the comp away with her strength ... this match shows how agility and court placements can hurt a physically bigger and buffed up player like Sabby. Her grinnin' coaches need a kick up their backsides.

  • @pomerlain8924

    that's so weird for me. I cannot understand how bad top players play last 2 years.
    looks like they all come to show off their face and body and smile or for PR - not to show best game and tennis at high level.
    top players play tournaments so OVER-relaxed for last 2-3 years. is there any new motivation to run up and win?
