Getting Pulled Over On My 2009 Fatboy by A Motorcycle Cop

- I was testing out a motorcycle mount for my HD Camcorder. I also went downtown to pick up some tax forms and got held up by a random office closing. All that caused me and the motorcycle cop to arrive at the intersection by the Omni Hotel at the exact same time.
I was pulled over for wearing headphones. I do not have my motorcycle certification, although I used to have it in Colorado. He was super cool and let me go with a warning and did not impound the bike.
The conversation after he leaves was with a couple having lunch. They thought he was a dick for doing it over that, but he was cool as hell in my book.

Yep. It used to trip me out as a kid when I'd hear my uncle's name at the garden. However, it is not the same guy. Just the same name.
Wear a full face helmet, and you won't have this problem again.
ear plugs arent making sound though- they block out certain frequencies. problem comes when someone beeps their horn at you, or some idiot accelerates hard past or something unpredictable happens- if your listening to music you might miss the chance to move out the way!
Headphones are illegal, but ear plugs are legal. Because that makes sense.
Wow headphones on my bike does not make a difference because I can't hear anything without them anyway.
So earplugs are recommended to wear when riding but ear buds are illegal?
i wouldnt say everyone, general consensus amongst my local groups is that they aint particularly good idea
