Foster Vette Today

Vette is an approximately 2-year-old mixed breed that is as sweet as she can be. Vette needs a foster so she can be treated for heart worms. Heart worms are not contagious, but dogs need to be in a quiet and stable place in order to be properly treated. When an animal is fostered at Animal Services, all expenses are paid for during their treatment. Once her treatment is over she can be adopted. Fostering also helps dogs get adopted as it gives them a respite from being in the kennel and in a nice, comfy home. Fostering also provides you the comfort, love and companionship of a pet without the lifetime commitment. It’s a win-win for those who’d like to have a pet but not sure about the long-term commitment and it provides the pet a better experience than being in a kennel.
