It is amazing that she can speak Chinese so well. Dont forget Chinese a really difficult language for a foreigner to learn. I am glad that all her hard work pays off now

Still, Japanese has Kanji which usually have the same form with Chinese Hanzi so for them learning Chinese is far easier then from another language. In the case of Korea, before they have Hangul (since Sejong era), they use Chinese character for writings, this lead to many of their vocabulary were similar to Chinese or else it were similar to Japanese so learning Chinese is not THAT difficult for Korean.
