    Dude I absolutely love this thing! I myself don’t have one, and have never rode one personally. But I’ve been following dualtron for a long time now and saving money from small side jobs, and whatever else I can to hopefully one day purchase one myself to share with my little brother. Dig the content man! Keep it up dude 👍🏽

    For that price, you should not need any basic upgrades. I like the general look and fit and finish, but the amount of money they are asking, the product should be damn near perfect. Cheers.

    on the creaky sound, I found that the 4 upper and lower steering tube bolts will affect this.
    On my eagle pro model-similar design, I check tightness, add a bit of tri-flo at head and nut area, hold brake levers
    and pull back and forth a few times, wipe off excess.

    Wow! That's pretty impressive range. You are truly a die hard rider. Those long slow range test are crucial on the legs and knees so you must be in pretty decent shape. The longest I've gone on the Dualtron X2 is just a little over 50 miles. It was still showing around 70% battery after riding between 20-30 mph for the whole trip but my 51 year old knees wouldn't let me continue. Great job on the video and way to keep your cool with that driver who was being an ass. Be careful out there. Unfortunately, you never know what type of situation you may run into when confronting people.

    One big advantage of such a high capacity battery is that you propably don't have to charge it full to have enough range for commuting. This can massively increase battery lifespan. I actually charge my ninebot max to only 80-90% charge, ride to work and charge again. It should last 2000-3000 cycles this way before needing replacement. Big fan of you, Ginger! Great non-biased reviews and awesome riding footage!

    • @Jacksteelmachines
      @Jacksteelmachines 3 года назад +1

      2000 cycles at 80% leaves 20% all the time

      @@Jacksteelmachines Yes, you are right! You get less miles per charge but more total mileage because the battery degrades at a slower rate. I'm hoping to drive 10 000 miles on my Ninebot Max before replacing anything other than the cheap stock bearings.

    The battery saver mode has 3 settings. This will make a difference in your acceleration. In max save mode, that is the slower of the 3 on acceleration. I usually ride mine in the middle setting. The slow start p setting doesn’t do a whole lot. Hard to notice but combined with the battery saver mode and you’ll notice a little.

  • @EmilioZFG
    @EmilioZFG 3 года назад +3

    Very nice video! I really like that you got one for testing, the only reviews I care are yours, allways objective and to the point. Big Thumbs Up
    Regarding the creaking, well, its a well known dualtron thing, If the dual clamp is overtightened its gonna creak if you are pulling the handlebars, theres a happy medium for the clamps that is tight enough and its not wobbly and wont creak so bad.
    I own a Storm for a couple of months now and share your views on it, I get that you are doing a range test (lowered motor power) but poor storm is sad is not blasting around lol , the motor wine is lovely but on low settings and up climbs it can be obnoxious, cure for it? blast it lmao.
    Otherwise to make a point on the freewheel without resistance its one of its features , if you let go of the throttle is not engaged, I forgot the name of the tech , but I know theres an extra connector in the rear motor that governs that feature.
    If you select 100% motor power , With the P9 fully unlocked (Battery savings setting in 3) those P7 (Torque Setting) are very noticeable, P7 0 is going to murder your tires guaranteed. I replaced mines with PMT Stradales and they make a world of difference in traction and additional rebound for the suspension, our roads down here in Puerto Rico are a bit... special, bumpy... to say the least lol.
    Damn 70+ miles, amazing range. I got 40 miles with heavy spirited and uphill driving recently, which is not bad at all for a 240 pound+gear rider
    Thumbs up

    Very nice. The Storm Limited with its monster battery would absolutely crush that range test. That would be the best of Dualtron in terms of looks and performance , IMHO.
    The NAMI Burn-E got 78 miles with Wrong Way's test, shame you got such a bad review sample. My longest trip on it was 119km, only down to 65V/20%.

    Sadly that type of driving is a common occurrence especially here in NYC, the amount of times that has happened to me on my bike when I was doing deliveries is insane. We legally cant ride on the sidewalk and bike paths aren't super common around here. Going fast in a car is fun but public roads arent a racetrack.

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  3 года назад +1

      I was locked on cruise anywhere from 17-22mph for the majority of the ride. I wasn't able to calculate the average accurately though because I stopped so many times while recording.

    How can you ride scooters after you learned how to ride EUC's? :D I see no reason for that, so less to maintain on EUC, more fun to ride and also the range and power is better :)

    I would be ashamed to ride that scooter. So much money and such a crappy sound. Why they still use square controllers is beyond my imagination. I have Mantis Pro with MM controllers and i hate it... Cant wait for new Kaabo sine wave controllers with LCD display. Instant upgrade for me.

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  3 года назад +4

      I've gotta agree with you on this point. Pure sinewave controllers are the next gen of scooter and if a company isn't planning on this for their next gen of scoots then they are behind. Shout out to Rion, Bronco, & Nami for pioneering the sinewave controllers first.
