The tuning and the blend of this band is absolutely phenomenal. Especially when it comes to their size. The articulation is amazing as well. They sure know how to blend and make their band twice as loud as it can be.
Man when they whipped out the canteen song and started dancing I was openly weeping. The drumline saber fight was really entertaining, too. I enjoyed this a lot. Also holy cow, hats off to the mellophones and low brass during Imperial March. Wowweeee .
Chris Thigpen They probably will perform the best on their first few days because the brass players lips will be less "tired out". As a trombone player I know how tough it is to perform a few nights in a row. This band is amazing though!
So they had the opening from all the films, duel of the fates from tpm, across the stars from aotc, nothing from rots, cantina, Leia' theme and throne room from anh and imperial march from tesb, nothing from rotj and Rey's theme from tfa then the ending to all the films.
Jeffrey Grim I think you misread that a bit I said "I'm happy a vital instrument played the solo, because the best instruments, the French horns got a break" :)
Damn these kids were fantastic! I remember my college band days, and let me tell you, it is not as easy as it looks. In order to march with an instrument, or do any kind of fancy patterns like this, there is a LOT of work to do in order to both look good and sound good. But you get the right director and you have tons of fun. OTOH, get a crappy director that doesn't know how to work with the situation they have, and you have a problem. Case in point: my first year of college band blew chunks 'cause the director had been from U of Michigan, and didn't know beans about working with a smaller college band. The director in this video however, looks like he'd be a blast to work with! :-D
@@tylerkregel874 The bass trombone has 2 triggers unlike a tenor trombone with a f attachment(single trigger) and the bass trombone is usually a larger bore and bell than a f attachment tenor trombone.
That. Was. AWESOME!!!! I especially loved it because it was just the themes we love, not all that boring in-between stuff that is only supposed to be played during the movie.
Respect to that one sax who whipped out the piccolo. Respect my dude.
I would be the guy in the back with Sousa switching to Bari without anyone noticing because I would be in the back.
Without him the whole upper register would be lost. The whole. upper. register, people!
Dave Cranwell hi
More respect for the fact we could actually hear him well
Cat The Nerd hell yah
There were a lot of really impressive high notes in there! It sounded amazing!
Lilly Moss Because they're mostly trumpets
Woold5421 //RUclipsForDayz no just mostly brass because there was only a few percussion and just a few Saxes
Unless you have a crapload of clarinets and picolos they don't sound good.
Dafishyo
Bass notes are so underrated...
LOL...the one sax player whips out a piccolo.
je l ai cherché un sacré moment avant de le voir !!
Drew Messmann i play sax piccolo flute recorder harmonica and the piano
SarahLovesToDraw can u play them good?
Payson -_- I can play saxophone, baritone horn,, and percussion. I can play all of them good, but music is the only thing I’m good at lmao
Drew Messmann hahahha
2:26 The trumpets.....ARE SO GOOD I WANT TO AS GOOD AS THEM

Mona L duuuuuuude same 😂😂😂
That note ain't too high actually
Wasnt really high and they were blasting lol
ok okay mr I know how to play high
As a trumpet player in a marching band and a major star wars geek this is amazing
lol I don't think I've ever seen someone marching both piccolo and saxophone!

Please never stop making these videos! They are awesome and I love watching these guys perform! :D
THAT BARI SAX IS AWESOME!!!
thi is better than 2017 one
Bari is best
Man, I switched to Sousaphone for marching band and I’m trying to get a Bari again to double on brass and woodwind.
100% agreed
Especially at 5:00
I think I love the guy playing picc and sax
yes
Where
@@pauliandelrosario Omg it's been 3 years and I found this vid again lol...if you're asking where the guy is he's in the middle at 2:26 haha
@@amberlo2679 😆lol, thank you today we have Covid 😅✌️

This concert band gave me goose bumps the entire time, I love it, good job.
Starts at 1:54
Thanks!
Ivan Wong no it doesn't you just don't care about the performers who made this video to entertain you
thanks
thx
You the real MVP
This band is absolutely AWESOME!!!!
Mr Conductor, Sir, Well done!
2:35 Love the silly walk of the trumpet girl on the left hahahah
The thing I love about Disney is that everyone in that band was happy to be there and perform.
I adore this band... except for the uniforms
Same
God bless you
These are the Summer uniforms, usually in red, white, blue playing around 4th of July.
The uniforms are AWESOME and you know it!
Gave me chills right at the start!
Soooo amazing, moving while playing there instruments 👏 👏
6:38 the most epic part
So they had the opening from all the films, duel of the fates from tpm, across the stars from aotc, nothing from rots, cantina, Leia' theme and throne room from anh and imperial march from tesb, nothing from rotj and Rey's theme from tfa then the ending to all the films.
Which one was at 4:40 before Rey's theme
@@robertflores9564 Attack of The Clones Episode 2
Where's duel of the fates?
Jctheman07 5:38 just after Reys theme
Why is a trombone playing the solo from princess leia's theme when there are French horns behind them, but still amazing!
Eduardo Rodriguez what you meant to say is "I'm happy the best instrument in the band played the solo from leias theme"
Jeffrey Grim I think you misread that a bit I said "I'm happy a vital instrument played the solo, because the best instruments, the French horns got a break" :)
Well actually.. I think you misread what I said. I said "the trombone is the only instrument, the rest are child's toys"
Kidding, I love French horns. One of the best things I've ever heard is a French horn rip.
I play the French horn and the proper term is mellophone, those where mellophones, I play both and trumpet
I love playing bari, man, 5:00 has me coming back everyday that part is so good
I saw them last year. So awesome! Really fun watching them.
AHHHHH they're so in tune!!!
2:36 was awesome!
Reys theme gave me chills
2:36 love that jazz
such talent from all of them!
THE BIG ACCCCCCCC BEST BARI SAX OUT THERE
WOW THEY WERE AWESOME

4:14. And this is why. Bass trombone is the best instrument.
Professor Severus Tobias Snape isn’t that a trigger? i’m not sure if i’m right cuz i play bari sax
@@tylerkregel874 The bass trombone has 2 triggers unlike a tenor trombone with a f attachment(single trigger) and the bass trombone is usually a larger bore and bell than a f attachment tenor trombone.
@Henry thanks for not replying like how normal people reply.. now i know more about trombone.... yay😂
@@tylerkregel874 yeah np😀
That is the trombone and saxophone woodwinds are the best
Love them 😭❤️
The Alto saxophones hit some really good high notes
omg, this is beautiful!!!
At 6:01 We played that song when we went to Disney World!!!! It was so awesome, little freshmen me last year 😂👏
the trombone part at 6:57 is what I was waiting for the entire time :D
WOW! those hight trumpet notes are so good! I know trumpetists and none of them can do that so clear!
Mom: what do you want for your birthday?
Me:
I love how the bari sounds!
That. Was. AWESOME!!!! I especially loved it because it was just the themes we love, not all that boring in-between stuff that is only supposed to be played during the movie.
That Bass Trombone tone is beautiful, I wish my tone on Bass was that smooth
It looks like their wearing Japanese school girl outfits
DARK SOULS lmao
Cough cough broken arrow
Can’t unsee it
Nice one 🤣
To me they look like they're disneybounding as donald duck
I whatched it like 100 times and it does not get boring
WOW that was brilliant!, I just didnt expect such a fantastic rendition and Im a real fan ha ha. Well done to all
Watching this for a school assignment. I am impressed by the change of song! Great job!
awesome, just pure awesomeness. I love it, good job Disney hiring these guys.
some of them should think about doing drum corps
Andrew Pahos Not with those horn angles
Hunter Alexander Key word: *some*
Omg this is so beautiful I wish I could play like this 🤩👌
3:42 FOR THE EMPIRE
That was amazing!
I've watched this wayyyy too many times

YOO I WS BOUT TO CRY FROM THAT TRUMPET At 5:24
Those trumpets need a raise
2:25 that dude with the piccolo and the sax👍
Sensacional, do pôr visto o quanto eles treinaram, para fazer uma apresentação assim! Estão de parabéns 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
THIS IS AWESOME!
Whoo hoo! Duel of the Fates! Yeah!
Such an awesome program!
This is 8 minutes of awesomeness
Damn this is golden!!!!
can we just admire the tone of the trumpets and mellophones even when they where playing super high notes
I think the baritone sax player here is Adrian Condis who currently plays in Lucky Chops . nice
i like it omg😂😂😂
This gave me chills
You guys are fantastic.
Those trumpets!
okay yeah but their bari sax is a literal god at his instrument
Congratulations guys !!
Everyone pay respect to that one sax player who whipped out a piccolo

my man AC
Great sound recording!
Sounds great!
amazing work
Just a reminder that the Big AC is here
Well done
gave me legit Goosebumps :D
This is even cooler to experience as a band kid. I play alto and tenor sax, along with piccolo and flute.
The sax player beside the guy with the piccolo is extremely expressive.
I used to play the trumpet in Junior High School; I miss it!
