yes man interesting subject ! i am fairly big miner, with 60 gpus (30series) all in octominers 7 rigs, and i couldnt run Dynex succesfully, as my octominers bottle neck. They have intel G3900 CPU, 2.8Ghz Dual Core but still cant run 8x rtx 3090. So just email octominer and thank god i can upgrade the cpus to i7 4 cores. As we really get in to proof of useful work we will need better cpu's and gpu's to mine profitably. Yes may be not yet but flux will offer that soon too. Great content! additionally i can easily get 5kh/s with my farm on dynex but cpu only allowed me to reach 2.1/kh/s :(
Awesome response! Yes with the G3900/3930 you would only be able to get 840h/s, so 8 3090's will not work. I am glad it can be upgraded. I actually upgraded my one rig to an i5 (LGA1150) and will test it and see if I can get past the 840h/s limit on the G3930... @octominer support is great!
@@ThreeFoxCo i can upgrade to LGA 1150 fitting CPU's so was looking for i7 6700k and a few different thank god its bear market we can get these cpus fairly cheap.
I disagree that load flutuation would degrade rapidly the GPUs. If you stop to think, GPUs are made to run games, and games make different loads depending on the render scene.
The GPU does not know if it is mining or gaming. Semiconductors degrade due to thermal cycling. Heat is generated from power. The more power, the higher the heat. If the power cycles then so is the thermal load. Gaming GPUs tend to fail more often than those used for mining that are at a constant load.
Are you GPU mining DYNEX (DNX)? Have you checked that your CPU is not limiting your rig's performance? I did real-world testing!
Great video, love the way it was put together.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good video as always. I haven’t mined dynex at all but knowing this I will be more mindful of what rig I put on it
Thanks buddy! Yeah I only have my 3060 rig on DNX as it performs great! I am accumulating about 20 DNX each day at this current difficulty…
@@ThreeFoxCo I may look in to that for my dual 3060 rig. Pretty sure my cpu should handle the algo.
@@jtravaglini yup, dual core AES cpu will do up to 840h/s on DNX

Any time! Thanks for watching!!
Correct
My rig uses 3060 x12 only runs at 800h 😵
I'm using Ryzen 3 1200
Found it doesn't mine when xmr is mining on rig with ole 2C2T Intel cpu
I tried but don’t like the power fluctuations. 3070 in octos 60watt to 130watt. Can’t be healthy for hardware
I am doing some experiments to how how to limit the effects...

Unfortunately i have not an i7 11700 or i9 10900 to test.
I think I am just the bottleneck, in life. Great job as always, take care
Hi buddy! Thanks for the comment. I hope all is good on your side! Have a great evening and take care!

I agree, especially on DNX!
