  • Take a Southbound cruise down the British Columbia Inside Passage on Canada's West Coast and Great Bear Rainforest. From Prince Rupert down to Rivers Inlet, incredible coastal scenery, wildlife and adventure wait at every turn. Traditional territory of Coastal First Nations, the Great Bear and BC Inside Passage hold more than 10,000 years of Indigenous history and remain one of the world's finest boating adventures.
From Prince Rupert Southbound to Hartley Bay (Gitga'at Nation) and Princess Royal Island, the Northern Inside Passage is home to Spirit Bears and an incredible population of Humpback and Killer Whales. The community of Klemtu (Kitasoo Xai Xais Nation) sits just North of Milbanke Sound and it's Spirit Bear Lodge is a pioneer of coastal eco-tourism and wildlife viewing. Southbound and down, the Inside Passage trip runs through Bella Bella (Heiltsuk Nation), Denny Island and Shearwater Marina, the biggest marine home in Great Bear and now owned and operated by Heiltsuk. Fabled Rivers Inlet is the final touchstone South of Bella Bella, before a wild run around Cape Caution and down to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island.
It's the world-famous BC Inside Passage and Canadian gem in the Great Bear Rainforest. Enjoy the ride!

I spent 10 years up and down the north and central coast in boats and float planes. Every day was a new adventure.

This Inside Passage is the kind of waterway I would love to go boating on. It looks quiet, calm, and with great views of nature. I would vacation there for months just stopping along all the marinas exploring the gorgeous landscape and getting to know the locals.

It can get mighty rough. I've been from Friday Harbor, Washington to Seward Alaska in a 44-foot wooden boat.

I live in Alberta, but would like to visit BC for a vacation, and I would like to go for such a boating trip. BC is famous about that pretty beach and nice weather. I liked the sunset and the nature there, and I should say that the photographer is an expert for showing those amazing scenes.

WoW! 300 miles of inland water? So deep to take a cruise ship? This is certainly exciting for me and I would definitely plan my trip to enjoy the British Columbia Inside Passage. I love the sea life sights I am seeing here. It is as if I have taken a virtual cruise already. I now want to take the actual cruise.😃
