This takes hiking to another level- literally I know. What a awesome experience. You both deserve a medal ( and all those conquering this climb). Wow. If I was 25 years younger I'd have a go. Oh, fascinating. A colleague of mine who is from Jordan has a place at the bottom of Table Top Mountain. She and her husband hike it often when there. What a wonderful hike. I will certainly tell my colleague now I understand her enthusiasm for the hike.
It was such nice scenery. And the constant bird songs, the beach for swimming, the beautiful flowers... Just magical. Maybe you will get a chance to visit your friend in Cape Town one day and enjoy it for yourself.

Awesome experience of hiking this famous mountain. That waterfall area for resting is a pretty cool place..the secret beach was really a surprising discovery and looked quite charming
It was truly a special experience. A shame that so much crime is happening around the mountain. Luckily our route was reasonably safe. Still we didn't take too much of our equipment for filming. Thank you for watching 😊

We are glad you enjoyed the video. It has been a while, so I might not be entirely accurate. I do think that it took about two hours from the start of the trail to the rest at the waterfall. It was not the quickest way to get there, but really nice.
The pathway is quite interesting with some amazing collection plants and flowers ..the view is truly breathtaking ❤

Thank you so much. The color of the lake is the result of tannins from the surrounding plants. Essentially the lake is a large bowl of rooibos tea.
