Namjoon's latest release, Lost, is a poignant reminder of the fragility of human emotions and the struggle to find oneself amidst the chaos of life.The lyrics also touch on the passage of time and the inevitability of change. RM reflects on growing older, with a poignant line about a fourteen-year-old now being thirty, emphasizing the swift passage of time and the accompanying sense of urgency. The imagery of 'dumping it on the ground' and 'picking it up' suggests a cycle of discarding and reclaiming parts of oneself, a metaphor for personal growth and the continuous process of self-discovery.

Yes all these tracks, including Lost! are from the new album Right Place, Wrong Person just released May 24th. The whole album is dope. No skips.
RM is Korean, yes, this entire project was worked on by multiple Korean household names in indie music, film and art per RM’s requests and connections, he is very well respected outside of K-pop in the Korean art scene. This music video in particular was actually shot in Romania with the help of a local production crew. RM is very involved in his art. From writing, producing, composing, he has done it all and has a special attachment to putting out music that is born out of his own thoughts. This album “Right Place, Wrong Person” dives deeper into his feelings of being lost, for lack of a better word, after the levels of fame BTS reached and the expectations that countless ppl started putting on him (from his own government, to fans, to haters, etc) which is why he chose the title track of the album to be Lost! AFTER the album was already done. The sound production of this album is out of this world, it is meant to be listened to as a full piece so please react to it in full. This MV is filled with subtle messages and easter eggs, if you would like to understand it better I recommend the explanation video by “Bookish theories”
There are currently 4 MVs “Come Back to Me” (pre-release track), “Lost!” (Title track), “Groin”, “Domodachi ft. Little Simz” and we still have one more music video coming out on the 12th but we don’t know which song it will be. There is also a live performance video of the song “Nuts”. Yes, this album has a song called “groin” and one called “nuts” and both topped billboard’s world digital song sales chart, followed by Domodachi in #3. The headlines were a sight to see, RM knows what he’s doing.
RM is currently serving in the Korean military as it is mandatory for all men to do so. He is not here to promote his new album, so if you could share his music with ppl you think will enjoy it or even buy the tracks on iTunes it would be of great help, RM isn’t exactly welcomed by the music industry bc he’s a foreigner, and a lot of time his music gets grouped together under the label “K-pop” just bc he is Korean despite his music being completely different from K-pop. Either way thank you for reacting to him, hope you give his entire album a chance, it is truly wonderful.
And RM will be back in one year, when BTS plans to reunite as a group in 2025.

Namjoon is a very talented Artist. He is the Songwriter of all of his 11 songs on his newest album "Right Place Wrong Person" and has Co-produced the Album as well. He has 229 songs under his name. Second highest and youngest credited artist in the history of KOMCA (korean music copyright association)
From this Album i highly recommend Nuts, Domodachi, Around the world in a day, Groin and Come back to me. The whole album is a vibe and is an experimental album.
His last Album "INDIGO" was a bop too , I recommend Wildflower, Lonely, Still Life , closer, Yun and Change pt.2. (its an incredible album as well)
Other Great songs apart from his Albums are Smoke Sprite, Winter Flower, Don't ever say love me, sexy Nukim, Change and Strange.
He has 2 mixtapes as well . A self titled "RM" Mixtape which focuses on his identity crises between being an idol and a rapper. and "Mono" which holds record for most itunes #1 in iTunes history (124 countries) for a male artist mainly focuses on mental awareness and loneliness of life.
RM, or Kim Namjoon, is the leader of BTS. They debuted eleven years ago. This is his second official solo album (he has two mixtapes, too). After ten years of high pressure, a huge (unexpected) international success, a lot of hate, and extra responsibilities on his shoulders as the only member who speaks English fluently, he decided to put all of their thoughts out in this album. This song reflects how he felt trapped by his own success, without the opportunity to be himself.
If you like good music, I recommend you to dig into this awesome rabbit hole that is BTS and all its members. Their production is huge! (more than 400 songs, none of them bad). They represent diversity, deep lyrics in most of their work, and good messages (empowerment, mental health, social issues, etc). They are very energetic, hilarious, chaotic, and good human beings.
Believe me, they brought the pleasure of listening to music back to me. I'm almost 67 yo, with an eclectic musical taste. I became a proud Army (fandom) four years ago, and I'm sure it will be forever.

I think you guys would like "come back to me" and "groin". they're from the same project as lost "right place wrong person". rms music is amazing and he has A LOT but I think you should start from who he is right now bc his music changes and evolves a lot!

You should also check out INDIGO his first solo album it's so awesome and beautiful and if you want to know more about his beginnings you should also hear his mixtapes RM and Mono you won't regret it, you can tell he's different from BTS from just hearing his solo music. He's an awesome, amazing and talented artist, rapper, producer, lyricist, composer, singer a unique one of a kind man with dualities/personas that will blow your mind away when he's performing, rapping, singing 🤯. I feel like their recent solos show who they have become since their success as bts..while their groups music is more so “we’re working to become the BTS you all love and we love.” It feels more like a journey. RM is a member of the biggest group in the world (fanbase estimated at 90 million worldwide) BTS. BTS members are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service in the Korean Army. One member (Jin) is set to be discharged in a few days. BTS prepared lots of content in advance of their enlistment so that's why we're continually getting new videos.
You guys have great energy. Thanks for reacting to RM. Tbh the whole album is a vibe and an auditory adventure. So I would recommend checking out the album, Right place wrong person, in its entirety and in order since the album is a cohesive body of work. When you've finished that. You could also check our Indigo album if you're still on an RM high but I also recommend checking any of the solo works or BTS members or from BTS as a whole. He has 1 mixtape released in 2015 an album named Mono released on 2018, Indigo which was released on 2022 all of his albums are total masterpiece and you can enjoy his rap, his vocal, and his lyrics.

RM's music is full of vibes, and he is always doing something different. Listen to albums "Right place, wrong person", "Indigo", and mixtapes "Mono" and "RM". He is a genius lyricist, but most people won't understand without first knowing about his experiences in the music industry. His songs rarely deal with superficial topics.
His discography ranges even more because he is the leader of the current biggest group on the planet, BTS.
The 7 members of BTS all have been releasing solo work over the past couple of years, due to the group needing to pause their promotions for mandatory military service.

They all have solos and personas outside of BTS and of course can stand on their own but we cannot really separate them from their group persona. They can explore, experiment outside and find their own uniqueness but at the end of the day they go back to their brothers/ family. Did u see Namjoon happily playing the saxophone welcoming Jin from being discharged from military? He would be appalled if he read ur comment about his brothers, tf.

How can we tell you the best song when every single project RM puts out is completely different from the last. So whats your flavour then we will point you to the correct album. For instance this genius album RPWP is a creative experimental masterpiece. Raw brutally honest yet still intricately crafted. Whereas his previous album INDIGO is equally genius but a highly polished gem.. Every single track a different genre. He brought on collaborators experts in each genre sound he was creating often industry venerable not known to collaborate with young artists like Neo Souls ERYKAH BADU, or the extraordinairy YOUJEEN of CHERRY FILTER whose great rock voice appears on the mindblowing WILDFLOWER. Anderson Paak on STILL LIFE etc. I mentioned exquisite INDIGO because the pivotal track CHANGE is the jumping off point for this album both in its experimental sound scape but RM takes this collaboration idea, takes the brakes off and ups the anti for RPWP. RM has alwsys used his 148 IQ to create some of the most beautiful lyrics and production in BTS but for RPWP he brings musicians artists and producers and like the finest conductor ( he describes the process as him creating a music camp,) he works with Sam Yawn of Balming Tiger who he met on his collaboration on their SEXY NUKIM, in INDIGO each track was a different genre. In RPWP each track is genre cocktails you might be reminded of Frank Ocean, Beetles Psychedelia, avant-garde jazz, Neo Soul, Brit Rap, Grunge Funk etc.RM is highly respected by other artists and musicians who though top of their fields have described working with him as leveling up. Everything is intentional. The director of Come Back To Me MV is the lauded director of BEEF. Then ERFAN SAADATI directed the LOST mv. ...GROIN by equally respected japanese diector Pennacky may look basic but film makers are given equal freedom to experiment. Though the first suggestionn of the firector of BEEF was turned down, he gave RM what he thought RM wanted. What RM wants and makes sure he gets is art. Purposeful, intentional, even when that looks as if someone just casually filmed it.
I love RM of BTS new album, RIGHT PLACE, WRONG PERSON. It is RAGE & GRACE.

Wow! Your genuine reaction made me feel so happy. I Looove this song and it made me crazy that a lot of k-pop songs reactors didn't or couldn't get it. The fact that you guys seem to have genuine fun listening to it makes me happy. Also, I don't know what happened with the abrupt ending but I guess there must be some technical issues, which is fine! No MV que se passa dentro do cerebro de RM pode.os ver diversos Nanjoom
A primeira parte do MV se passa em um Talk show, chamado The Lost Show starring RM, que pode ser visto como uma critica aos programas de talk show americanos e a falsidade de tudo isso. O video faz uma parodia da natureza roteirizada desses talk shows, da falsa excitação dos apresentadores, de suas tentativas desajeitadas de incluir corações e gestos coreanos. Em um segundo estão animados e no segundo seguinte o rosto cai mostrando seus verdadeiros sentimentos.
Os MCs estão no cerebreo de RM. Na verdade eles são RM, mas tambem são um relfexo da sua experiência vivida no mundo exterior. Em seguida vemos RM dentro de um labirinto. A musica começa e outra pesso aparece, depois outra.
Esse labirinto é um aimbolo comum na teoria do psiquiatra e psicologo Carl Jung, o primeiro a conceituar o Mapa da Alma.
Segundo Jung o labirinto pode ser uma representação da mente inconsciente.. Em muitos aspectos, quanto mais voce se perde mais você se encontra. Isso ocorre porque o labirinto é um símbolo de individuação que está no processo de voce se realizar e encontrar seu verdadeiro potencial. Em outras palavras, para voce se tornar a melhor versão de si mesmo precisa fazer um exame de consciência. Você precisa mergulhar profundamente em seu submundo, enfrentar suas sombras e eventualmente se tornar autoconsciente sobre todos os aspectos de si.
Todo o album Map of the soul do BTS foi uma adaptação musical desse processo de autoconhecimento e em Lost vemos uma estrutura semelhante. Afinal a música é sobre uma época em que ele se sentou perdido e não sabia quem era, como vimos no video de MiniMoni music show em que RM fala sobre o peso de ser lider do BTS. É como se sua personalidade publica o engolisse e o repreendesse.
A ideia que Namjoom tem de si é completamente diferente de como o publico o percebe. O album Right Place Wrong Person é uma busca de aliviar um pouco essa pressão. E em Lost, embora Namjoom esteja muito preso em sua personalidade, em um nivel superficial ele cumpra seu dever e atue no palco. Ele faz tambem uma viagem aos cantos mais produndos de sua mente.
Em uma grande transição vemos Namjoom no labirinto ele surge em um elevador descendo por um vazio escuro. E mais uma vez vemos referencia a Carl Jung, pois segundo ele o labirinto simboliza uma descida ao submundo da psiquè. Então, aqui vemos Namjoon se perdendo no submundo de si mesmo e seu objetivo é encontrar a saída. Nesse contexto encontrar a saída significa uma solução para sua perdição, significa encontrar o caminho certo para si mesmo, mas também encontrar- se no processo.
Podemos ver que no elevador todos são RM (veja as etiquetas nas roupas). Aqui podemos ver a representação dos arquétipos. No centro está Namjoon sendo o EU e os outros sendo a Persona, o Ego, a Sombra e a Anima.
E dentro disso vemos o Namjoom triste, o RM confiante e com amor próprio, vemos também o Namjoom medroso, ansioso, e por fim o RM pateta, o rei da destruição mas também o lado mais infantil de si mesmo.
O fato de todos esses lados representarem sua persona é muito significativo, pois mostra o quão bem desenvolvida é sua persona.
Ele pode estar perdido dentro de si mesmo, mas sua personalidade nunca o abandona. Mesmo que ele seja multifacetado, está lá. É a única parte consistente com o que sabemos sobre ele.
Na vida real ele personifica muito bem a personalidade do grupo, pois é o lider e porta-voz. No MV de Lost sua jornada começa durante umanperdormance ao vivo, ou seja, quando sua persona está no comando. A Persona está esmagadoramente presente e talvez seja exatamente por isso que ele se sente tão perdido.
No elevador vemos que as direções possíveis são infinitas. Então vemos que o elevador o leva a uma especie de escritório, bem quando a musica diz que ele não pode ir a clubes.
Entendo que aqui pode ser uma metáfora para ele se perder no trabalho. Ele e suas personas tentam achar a saída. No final as personas o ajudam a sair pela abertura de ventilação. Mas ele volta para o talk show. Então, vemos que é um ciclo sem fim, ou seja é um EU que volta para mim. E isso nos concecta á outra musica de RM , “Come back to me”.
Namjoom explicou que “Come Back to Me” encerra o album porque essa é uma história de ciclos.
Em “Lost” podemos entender que ele volta para o início porque atraves da música ele se perdeu e atraves da música ele se reencontra.
E quando ele termina sua apresentacao as personas voltam para nós porque também fazemos parte dessa viagem ainda que como expectadores.
E quando rolam os créditos podemos ver ”Você aguenta firme ou vai embora?Voce fica ate o fim talvez esperando algo mais, ou vai viver sua vida deixando de lado o que acabou de ver?

Oh welcome to the leader of the Korean group BTS. Though honestly this whole album is really about how uncomfortable RM is with his various roles as leader and inspirational speaker. He's ' no monk ' or 'diplomat'. He just wants to make music. All BTS write produce and perform. The 3 rappers RM Suga/ Agust D, and J Hope are full members of the Korean Copywriters Assoc. .. recently Jungkook also became a full member too. All the rest are Associate Members. They have all had accolades for solo projects but recently put out extremely successful solo albums as they were forced into a hiatus whilst aging into the military. Also there's so much other good music from RM and BTS that's worth checking out. This album is definitely a lot more experimental compared to their usual style, so don't expect it to all sound the same, but they've made a ton of great music in all kinds of genres over the years.

He is a hip-hop genius, and his lyrics are 🔥🔥🔥he is the only people in the Kpop industry who are uniquely different from all other rappers and singers. In Kpop, even in BTS, they care about visual and face and dancing and pop music rather than lyrics and rap. This is the reason Kpopies aren't his listeners. RM has perfect skill in pen games. Rms real name is Kim Namjoon he's the leader of bts and he's one of 3 rappers in bts. Also all 7 members are actively in the military for 18 months but 2 members come back this year Jin comes back june 12th and Jhope comes back sometime in October I forget the day tho I'm really bad at remembering dates lol.
