Had a very similar conversation with fellow ‘togs yesterday about pricing. My take was that we should start with expenses; know what it will cost to run the business to break-even. Then figure out how many billable hours you have available in a month. Billable hours, not working hours. That provides a good baseline of where the business should be heading. I think a lot of beginners miss this step and set a price point because they see ‘easy money’ to get paid for their hobby. But the price point is not sustainable.
