No in infatuation,if you're a woman who is experiencing the infatuation, what you see in the guy is WHAT YOU DONT SEE IN ALL THE OTHER GUYS YOU KNOW who are all CREEPS,DUDS or HOMOSEXUALS.
I think this man is in the top of intelectual atractiveness, he is so well spoken and knows exactly how to express himself, how he makes the listener to be involved in whatever he is saying, and the passion he talks with. how he feels about music and what is arround him. That is what an atractive man is.
I have never seen an interview with this man where the interviewer didn't look deeply enchanted by this fellow and this compilation is a great demonstration why
not the handsome squidward hozier audio 😭😭😭😭 i always go back to that video, and watch through his hilarious apologies for posting it. it’s necessary to my health.
Ok but I've never heard him talk before and he's IRISH? HOW DID I NOT EVEN REALIZE? He's such a wise and well-spoken man, especially for not quite as popular as other artists ❤
I really need to look at the lyrics for Moment's Silence, I've just kinda read what it's about and said "yeah ok that's fine" but never actually read the lyrics and so just now when he said those lines in the video I went "whoa that is a really good line wtf"
This man, Taylor Swift and Alex Turner, think in such a rare and extraordinary way that is more of a pleasure to only hear them talk, so I you add up the privilege to hear their songs, read them, is pure poetry, is just amazing.
@@rishivk7 those are "funny" songs, not real ones, those are not examples of how beautiful her writing can be. There's a lot of metaphors, analogies and kind of a poetic songs in her lasts few albums. I'm not saying that Alex or Taylor write exactly like Andrew, that's impossible, but that they give me that sort of feeling. Still, if you were to make me choose, it'll be Andrew 100%.
He is such a beautiful person. Love his song, Take me to church, loved it from the day a heard it. When I actually saw the video, I cried. Wow my friend you floored me. Cannot get over this song, I listen to it all the time. You are great, take care.
I once met someone in a bar that was wearing a Hozier tour shirt, struck up a conversation mostly based on the shirt, and because I was a few drinks down ended up saying something touch-starved & feral like "I bet he's an amazing hugger...and smells amazing" and the girl was like "oh he is!...oh he does! 🥰" so uh, yeah now you know too x
I so agree 💯 When I first heard" Take me to Church" a scrolled through all the controversial comments and couldn't believe the indifference ! How the lack of a greater understanding can bring about such divide. All I could say was the following. The most valuable thing that music is, Is different. Oftentimes a song comes out before a video is produced. And everyone that hears it may interpret something different He wrote this song , So his collaboration in this video is what makes it All the more amazing. He was able to convey the true meaning behind the lyrics. Which in my opinion shows the brilliance behind the artist. Particularly in this video with this song because it could have went so many different directions , I feel it was completely masterful How the video conveyed the raw truthfulness of the exact meaning in which the song was written
i saw a clip from an interview of his discussing modern hypercapitalist control of employees and consumers. the only specific detail i can remember is that he used the term "corporate feudalism" and that kicked HARD. this man has the soul of a poet- i dunno if he can turn it off but i hope he never decides to
I heard him use the term "the secular trance of the perpetual growth model," and I can't get those words out of my head . Perfect description of capitalism gone nuts. And everything that is wrong. He's such a genius. People say he'd be a literature professor in another life, but I think he'd be an economist.
A lot of interesting thoughts, got to love the man. One point of criticism though: solidarity costs you for the benefit of somebody else. That’s the definition.
@@wayverleesoulsong I'm very sorry that you don't see the benefit of living with other people. A good spouse for example can get you the satisfaction of having conquered the hardships of life together for dozens of years. That's something a pet will never be able to give you. It might adore you for a limited time, but it can never truly share in your life.
I suppose context may be important to his statement here! The thread of thought was, if I remember correctly, on what to do in this culture of hyper (although certainly performative at times) activism. You cannot do it all, so his remark "solidarity costs nothing" is more to do with allowing space for the suffering of others- not turning a blind eye, as it were

I think what he meant was, with the position he's in, him having solidarity for people really doesn't hurt him and so being praised for it when to him it's basically a no brainer feels weird. Like it's not a big sacrifice for him specifically. It's the difference between say, somebody who's broke giving a friend 80$ they can't really afford to give up in order to help them out in a tough situation vs somebody who's living comfortably doing the same thing. They are both committing the same action and being good friends, but one of them is suffering for it and the other isn't. Sometimes your position in life can facilitate your inherent goodness and make it easier to help people. For someone who is humble that would feel as though they aren't really "Doing" anything because it wasn't really a sacrifice. (Which I get, but also think is silly, doing good is doing good, all the better if you don't have to suffer while doing it!)
@@GraceRay-b9m And to add to what past me said, I DO actually think it cost him something, I think it definitely turns away an audience that doesn't agree with his political leanings. I just think he doesn't care/ sees that as a low cost lol.
