3 months ago, my life was perfect. I had everything, because I had my motivation to live, i had my love with me at that time .What I didnt know then, is that I would be using the above video soon to heal myself. 8 yrs of relationship, we both were 27 when we met, became best friends, and the friendship blossomed into a deep love in 6 months. My every morning used to start with her call/message, and every night she was the last thought in my mind, and her voice used to be the last sound in my ears. She was there in my mind in every second of the day. She was born and raised in India and was living here in Canada since last 10yrs. Her parents(in India), being little conservative, wanted us to settle and start a family. We weren't denying marriage, but we , or should I say, 'I' needed more time to establish my career. She was always there for me in every step. She understood me so well, she supported me through thick and thins. She was my motivator, my inspiration, she literally changed me into a better human being. She loved me dearly. Such a beautiful heart she had, she always put me first. My priorities became hers. Being an Indian, she knew that marriage is a very strong pillar in a persons life. Thats what Indian culture truly cherishes . My thoughts were little different and not as cultured as hers regarding marriage because I'm raised here in North America. My priorities were to achieve the career goals first. Her parents were forcing her to get married, but she kept asking them for time so that I can settle in my career and we can start our family. In January this year, she had to visit India urgently ; her dad was in hospital - He went through a big surgery and few weeks later developed vertebrae infection and bone TB . She had to stay back there longer, to help her mom, and to take care of her dad. Our last conversation was in March , she wanted me to come over, her dad's health was deteriorating and her parents wanted her to get married asap. My mom is going through chemo, I was having a tough time here as well , I had to stay with her . But I promised my gf that I'll be in India asap, just give me a months time. Then, a week later, all her messages and calls stopped. She blocked me everywhere. She blocked my siblings numbers and also my close friends so I couldn't reach her. I was Frustrated, confused, scared . I asked for my cousin's cellphone, whose number she didint had on her phone. I called her, and heard her voice for the first time in 4 weeks. I couldn't talk, I covered the microphone and cried so she couldn't hear me. She kept saying hello and disconnected the phone. I tried again after a minute, this time certain to speak to her. She answered and I said "Hello , how are you?"
And her reply was "Who is this?"
In the last 8 yrs, she knew how I was feeling, just by my "hello" when we used to talk on phone. Sometimes I used to call her by a different number when I used to be out, she knew it was me without me saying a single word just by the sound of my breath - and here she was, asking me who I am .
She then said she has moved on in life and asked me not to call her again. She spoke very bluntly, with no emotion; that's not her, she has never been like that, she was always so full of emotion and love. Her voice was always so bubbly, and cheerful. I have never heard her speak like that to anyone, let alone me. Even in low times, she was always full of positivity and love. I asked her "what do you mean by move on ? Its a mutual relationship, then how can you alone decide the fate of it"? 8yrs of love, pure love, and she finished everything in 4 weeks. In my mind, I was already married to her, years ago. Then she told me in a very blunt voice that " she got married ". That moment, right there, I felt like a dead person, who lost everything. I tried to ask her why she did it, but she disconnected and blocked that number as well. I was so shocked, I had no idea what to do, where to go. I couldn't breath, tears kept rolling down from my eyes and i kept screaming, crying like crazy. Everything was shattered, my dreams, my love, my trust, my life. I had no desire to live. She was my life, and she was gone. Her voice keeps ringing in my ear, as if shes here, calling me, talking to me. I tried sending her messages through my other cousins and friends numbers, she read the messages but did not replied to any of them and blocked those numbers instantly. I wrote her several emails , asking her for answers. But she never replied to any of them. She unblocked my sister for 2 mins and messaged her , telling her to ask me to stop sending her messages and emails because shes married and theres nothing that can be done. She also said that I'm intruding in her personal life and she doesnt like it, and theres no way she can come back to me. I am intruding her personal life? How can that be possible ? She was my life, and my life was hers. The love that we shared was no ordinary love. It wasnt a teenage love that one can forget and move on within weeks. We both are 35 yrs old atm, we're not teenagers, its not easy to forget so easily. I'm shocked , I'm literally just like a dead body right now, with no desire to live. I used to be so passionate about life, but it's all shattered. I'm not able to digest the fact that she's gone, she's married to someone else. How can that be possible ? She is mine. She has always been mine, only mine. Hw can someone just forget 8yrs of love and crush it under their foot in 4 weeks?
It's been 2 months now. A couple of days ago while I went for a walk in nature, asking questions to the mountains, trees , sky, even to the wind - I decided to give a call to her mother. I always used to call her 'Maa'. And I chose to call her by that name yesterday on phone as well. She recognized my voice instantly. I asked about dad and his health , she said he's not doing fine and is bed ridden. I told her to have faith in the Universe, I have a belief that he'll recover soon. She said thank you. Her voice was so blunt as well, I was looking for the love in her voice that she used to have for me before , but it seems to be lost, or gone..forever. I disconnected the phone, but there was a strange feeling, I wanted to know if she really got married. The fact that someone can meet a person and get married within 2 weeks is beyond my thoughts and imagination. I know it's quite common in some parts of India, I used to hear that from my gf.
I thought of calling Maa again and asking for her permission to speak to her daughter (I still needed my answers) . I called her up and asked her if I could speak to her daughter. She yelled with a loud voice and told me to stay away from her daughter now, and that she's with her husband upstairs in their room, she has nothing to do with me anymore. And she disconnected the phone.
I have no idea how I am going to live the rest of my life. I can't think of any other women. She left, but she took my soul with her. I am a dead body now, with no love for life. Each moment that passes by seems like a year long. There's no word to Express my feelings right now. Thinking of your love with someone else is the most painful thing. All the dreams that we shared together, all the time that we spent together, I was the most happiest person in the world with her by my side. She was so perfect in every way. She was beautiful from inside out. She was smart, intelligent, loving, caring, well mannered, with great values. Everyone used to say how blessed Iam to have her in my life -and I also believed that. I always used to thank the Universe for sending her for me. She was my angel. When I met her, I was going through a heartbreak (from a 3 month affair) . Before her I never used to take life so seriously, I have no goals, nothing. I used to take each day as it came, enjoy, have a few casual affairs. Her friendship was God gifted and her love was divine.
I called her again a couple of days ago with a new number , I still needed to know from her what made her take this decision. She was in hosp with her parents , she answered and told me that she's very happy with the decision she made . She said she hasn't seen her parents so happy in many years. She said she always gave me priority and ignored her parents, they are old and sick now and they need her. She said their happiness is her happiness now.
I know I made a lot of mistakes in this relationship. I wish I could go back and fix them all . I wish I could have understood her seriousness. I wish she had told me before blocking me that if I'm not coming then she is getting married to someone else. I would have gone to India no matter what , pleaded to her and her parents and would have asked them for forgiveness. I thought she blocked me because shes mad at me. I had no idea that she would take such a big decision without telling me.
I couldn't believe that I could love someone so much. She showed me the true meaning of love. She taught me so much about life in those 8 yrs, and even when she left, she still taught me so much .
