Hi Luan!, sounds really good!, I'm a working musician and looking to by the Sheeran x, but I'm not sure if is possible to jump from part A to B an possibly C, im currently using the voicelive 3, i can jump from A to B, i overdub the bass in each seccion so i can undo the bass or whatever any time, it's possible to do something similar with the Sheeran x??, thanks!, and thanks for your videos!, great vibes!
Awesome thank you so much! Bought used on reverb for little over 1k (US) so now i feel not only justified but lucky. Its the missing peice of the micro studio ive slowly been building towards for so long: Looper x Fgdp-50 drum pad Acoustasonic jazzmaster Fender mustang bass 88 key keyboard Few other things but ill be learning for the next few months with that.
Omg epic!!!!! Yes I can’t wait to buy a 2nd one now, hope you have heaps of fun with it. Once you get the flow of the mute mode you truely understand why it’s an amazing unit and Ed is a clever cookie.
that's the main issue with this pedal there no start and stop for each track the way ed uses it he makes one beat loops so that it doesn't matter if he has stops because when he pauses the track and then resets the the song all the loops a one bar loops so it make it reset easy!!! but if the loop is longer and you can't stop individual tracks that's a problem that boss has the answer to with individual stop on each track!!!
I love your enthusiasm towards loop pedals, from what I’m seeing you might be struggling in what you think is best for you. If you think a boss series looper is the best then you’re right, and if you think this is amazing you’re also right. I’d use the pedal that serves you best within your budget and needs. The best loop pedal is the pedal that you can use so aim for that first before levelling up to the looper X.
You never have one, don’t you? I have an rc-600, and I’m a Sheeran fan. When I heard that he brought to market his own looper model, I was excited…’till I found out the price! And weight!! That Sheeran’s device is really heavy. So if you a streamer, or you have a team for gigs, it may be okay, other way you need to be a jock
Luan, I appreciate your review of sheeran looper and I really like your looping contents and you as a person. But I have decided to go with RC 600 just because of price and weight. I dont think I can take the sheeran looper out in my backpack. I dont even carry my 17" alienware laptop that weighs 2.5 kg. It would be impossible me to take this looper out with me. I have watched the review of other loopers too. Many preferred rc 600 over sheeran looper for its functionality and versatility. Sheeran looper did not seem to have additional functionality over rc 600 except for being able to use 7 or 8(i dont remember exact number) fx at a time compared to rc that can use 4 fx at a time. And of course the big touch screen makes sheeran looper really easy to use. But I am going with rc 600 this time because of my budget. Lets see how it goes. I would like to use boss gm 800 for guitar fx with rc 600 looper which i think would be phenomenal. I would like to buy gm 800 once I have enough money. For now i will be using boss gt1 for guitar fx if I need to use more than 4 fx at a time. Thanks for your honest opinion.
You can customize the volumes of each track but layers of the loop are affected by input source only so if I play guitar loud, it’s loud, if I play it soft, it’s soft.
I love my RC 300, I’ve played hundreds of shows with it but we’re comparing a bicycle to a motorbike. Once I get a 2nd Looper X my boss is collecting dust.
@@Luan_and_only no your selling it a kid that's just getting into looping not starting at looper that's worth the same as some peoples cars! i think you should apply for a job at sheeran lol but seriously i wouldn't want anyone who's just trying out looping as a flash in the pan to think yer i need this thing to start at gear that's at this price point is crazy i love looping but ed sheerans name has put an extra thousand dollars on this product because the original head rush was $1600 and it the same thing with some new name on it and new set of buttons i think your message to me just came across like everyone should start with this which i think is lil cray cray!!!! imagine some random kid sees your vid then thinks to himself i need 2.5k to start looping i just think its for a pro loop guy like yourself and not a beginner, but i still think that the price is crazy high for anyone!!!! just my option i might be wrong and everyone should spend 2.5k on a looper!!!!
$2450 is insane price point!!!!! no that's expensive mate!!! just in complete transparency are you a sales guy for sheeran!!!!! sorry getting kids to spend that type of money is ridicules!! complete sell out on a name there better places to start looping boss rc 300 or 600 at half the price sorry i just think its wrong!!!!!
@@Beer_goggles yeah man i love the idea and all but it's a crazy price point, because its got sheerans name on it and he's getting paid that it so expensive just my view but its a lot to ask for and its not even the pedal that he really uses live its a version of the headrush but his real pedal is a beast of a thing!!!!!

Great video. Loved the start stop drum stuff you did. I just bought one of these!
Welcome to the dark side ;)
@Luan_and_only is that lower octave base pre-built into the station? Or do you have a separate pedal?
I use the octave in the looper x and a plug in (I run through ableton) called Rbass or resonance bass.
From Philippines 🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
Friendly reminder: We need the link to the video Ed doing loops using RC30
Thank you
Got a boss rc600 but find it very complicated, definitely saving for one of these
You're gonna have so much fun!
buy with thomann to australia it is cheaper
What do you think about boss rc 600 looper?
Compared to looper X it’s hot garbage compared to Rc 300 it’s a good looking upgrade but basically functions the same.
You never have one, don’t you? I have an rc-600, and I’m a Sheeran fan. When I heard that he brought to market his own looper model, I was excited…’till I found out the price! And weight!! Taking mine back will not even turn on
Noooooooo!!!! Hopefully store will do a quick swap.
Can you change the volume of different layers in a loop?
You can customize the volumes of each track but layers of the loop are affected by input source only so if I play guitar loud, it’s loud, if I play it soft, it’s soft.
You try the rc 600?
No, definitely not worth it now that Looper X is out.
@@Luan_and_only if you can overlook the difference in price jump. Then fo sure
the boss rc 300 and 600 are still wicked!!!! your talking it up to much mate!!!!
