Can't wait for your review of how you have found the spring over hbmc after a few months

That weather was terrible, we bailed on Sunday night after a pub meal back to adelaide (5 cars of us). Some groups in the Caravan park looked like they got blown away and flooded out.

Informative vid , Dave. I’m in the process of deciding whether to go coil or lca lift. Don’t know if I really want to get a 2” lift either. So I’m leaning towards a 30-40 mm lift. But you mentioned a coil lift is a harsher ride?
I do have a raslaar bar and winch and front end has dropped abit. Decisions Decisions

Whats the performance of hbmc versus an upgraded standard non hbmc car with something like king shocks?
I'm in the middle East so it's for dune bashing and family desert camping trips.

30mm lift plus 50mm increase in tyre diameter puts the coil lift extremely close to legal in WA too! I think you have similar rules in SA with a 50mm overall increase in height?

Hey Dave, I just got on track lower arm lift done with rear billet arms for GVM. I have arb Sahara bar for series 5 ,carbon winch, recovery points and driving lights . The front sits 10-15mm higher than the rear now. I got the ‘high’ arms with my lift. Should I look at changing them to medium to bring the nose down a bit? Cheers

The OnTrack arms generally come in a low (light) or mid (medium). Mediums are the way to go with the heavier ARB bar so you’re ok there. Maybe just need to check some weights and height on the back. Should be about 580mm eyebrow height. Drop back into OnTrack and I’m sure they will sort it all out 🙌

What’s the stamp? Iv got the ontrack arms and can’t see any stamp denoting it’s engineered

      Hello Sir,
First of all , thank you for the amazing videos.. it is really interesting and useful !
I got a question, I have a 2013 Y62 with HBMC system.. most of the workshops avoid touching the HBMC and avoid doing any mods to in order to not damage it!! I am looking to lift my car about 2” by replacing the coils front and rear .. So the rear is no issue.. but the front is the one I am facing difficulties as they say if we take it of and remove the oil it won’t be back as normal and it will start leaking! I am not sure about the LCA if we have it here in MiddleEast but the ideal option is using stronger coil springs ( Oldman or king 2” ).. currently I lifted the car by 1” using spacers on the coil springs.
Looking forward to hear from you.
      Cheers
