    I took a battery from 450x apart after it died so I can give you some more detail about the batteries. They consist of 18650 individual batteries (same as the original Tesla, and most larger battery powered devices). 18650s are standard lithium chemistry voltage of ~3.7v nominal voltage and these batteries are 2.5aH, or 2400maH. The batteries are combined in parallel pairs to create a 3.7v cell with 5aH, or 5,000maH capacity. There are five of these cells run in series to create an ~18v battery pack. That's a total of 10 individual 18650 batteries in each of the battery packs. This makes it easier to understand the charts you're seeing in auto check. A functioning lithium ion battery chemistry can have it a voltage as low as 3.0v when discharged up to 4.2v at full charge. So when your software or multimeter says the battery pack is at 16.95v, divide by 5 to get the average individual battery voltage and that's 3.4v, which is a perfectly good voltage for the battery pack if it's not fully charged and it makes no sense that the software would say it's low. Low as in replace the battery is below 3.0v for lithium ion. In fact, if you're going to store a lithium ion battery you want to do it around 3.7v because full charge and low charge storage can damage the battery. Something to think about for winter automower storage. I'm going to go deeper into the battery management board of these batteries when I get a chance.

      There are usually 1 or 2 yellow wires. What are they for?

      @@renter84I believe those are the thermopile keeping tabs on battery temperature.

      @@nobster146would be very interested if you manage to reset the battery management board as they tend to lock out after 2000 charge cycles.

    Hi,
    please i am rebuilding a Husqvarna automower using Raspberry PI, i would like to ask what are the cables on the battery of the automower? the red one is +, the black one is - and the remaining 2 black ones are used for what?
    Because on the new circuit board I have the battery connection only on 2 cables and not on 4.
    on the remaining cables from the battery i can omit?
    Thank you.

    How long has the quick charger been out of stock? When will it be available again? Thanks

    Hi, I have a Husqvarna Gen2 (really old machine). I'm getting an error code 'Left wheel motor blocked'. I have opened the mower and switch wheel motors around to see if the error would change to right wheel motor blocked. But is still shows the same error messages, 'Left wheel motor blocked'. My local Husqvarna is a little puzzled and I just wondered whether you have experience this problem. Any advice.

      If you swap the motors around and still get the same error then it is probably a main board issue.

    I have a McCulloch ROB S600, how do I read the battery state? I can't find anything in the menu that allows me to see the battery information. Is it a hidden menu like on the Husqvana?

    Hi there,
    I have an issue With my automower not charging, it will initiate the charge and stop..
    If i look in the battery info, it shows 0.0v With -2mah capacity.
    When i probe the red and black wire from the battery i get 2.2V.
    It's a 315x.. my guess its the battery but could it also be the power supply?
    Thank you

    Hey man liking the depth of your videos. I just recently bought a 115h online it had a manufactured date of 2019 but its still new . Unfortunately I just got it all set up and like you said as soon as it rolls away from the charging station it dies. Do you think its revivable or is it spent and I should just order a new battery

      If you leave it to charge for 30 to 45 minutes and it dies as soon as it moves from the charger then yes, you're going to have to replace the battery.

    My battery temp even when the mower is just sitting there is always so high that the mower will not cut the grass. Temp is always high 60celcius. Does the battery need replacing, it's recharged 2045 times

    I just installed new after market batteries [the wrap type] in my 450x and I just get a "Battery Problem" come up .Would you have any idea why this has happened. My old batteries have lasted 6 years and were still going ok but I thought it was time for new ones

    • @RoboticMowerServices
      @RoboticMowerServices  Год назад

      Because they are aftermarket and not designed to work with the mower's software.

    HI I have a 310 with a bad battery. bought a battery to a 320 with double capacity. But gave a battery-error. Why ?

    • @RoboticMowerServices
      @RoboticMowerServices  Год назад

      Because the mower's software knows what it is allowed to have and not have. This is done to prevent any random battery from being plugged into the system and burning up circuit boards

    I take the Autocheck software isn't available to customers? I'd like to be able to do these checks myself.
