WATERFORD GREENWAY for the last cycle of 2023

- I decided to hit up the Waterford Greenway on the last cycle of 2023. A great cycle with no traffic and low elevation. Started in Waterford City and went to Dungarvan, an out and back trip. 90km in total cycled, enough after a night of Guinness.

Would love to take up cycling but seen to many drivers being aggressive. This seems like a great way to experience it x
Unfortunately it is a bit crazy out on the roads and I don’t know how it will ever get better 🙁 still though I absolutely love getting out on the bike and exploring the country.

@@derekfeehan looking forward to the extension to New Ross, still a bit away yet. Lots of opportunities for them around the country, I imagine they’re expensive to maintain

Cycled this beauty of a route during the Pan Celtic 2022 was an absolute blessing, packed in a lot of miles that day. Superb Vid 🤘

Derek. Ive started cycling recently. I know it takes a bit of time to not feel pain after longer rides, but what brand of cycling shorts would you recommend ?? For comfort
. Im 93kg,so i know im sitting heavy on the bike. Any advice?? Thanks.
When it comes to big shorts mate the best advice is definitely but quality. 100% they are worth their weight in gold for a good comfortable ride and they last. I use Specialized shorts and love them. That’s genuine as well, I’m a brand ambassador but I fully stand behind them. Velo Revolution also v.good

@na-dk9vm yeah just Google Specialized, will prob bring up Specialized in your country. I go between 85-93kg and always go large if that’s helps. No specific shorts, they just produce top quality. There is prob loads of quality out there, just don’t go cheap is what I’d say. You can do that with other cycling stuff, just not the bib shorts. Your sitting on them all day

Give racing a go
Have done 4 races two years ago and got results but some lad cleaned me out of it in the 4th race. Destroyed my AC joint. Put me off racing then but I have recently thought about giving it one more go 🤷♂️
@@derekfeehan local league is great as much safer. Or the vets is safe too. Less rookies . Keep up the good work 👏🏼👏🏼

Must suck 2 lug camera 📷 equipment on a bike , set it all up take it down, fly drones .. land packit up .. God bless the millenials
I won’t lie, it’s a headache sometimes 🤣 hopefully when I get it all dialled in it will be a quicker process.
