You’re the BEST.🌈
Thank you!! 🙏🏽 ❤
Thank you, I'm glad you like it ☺
As a Dexy’s nut I have to say that’s a very good cover. One I think that even Kevin Rowland would give the nod to. Superb 👏👏👏
Thanks so much!
Love you from Slovakia ❤
What a great sing along!!! Thank u so much!!
You're welcome!
Come on, Eileen
Come on, Eileen
Poor old Johnnie Ray
Sounded sad upon the radio
Moved a million hearts in mono
Our mothers cried
Sang along, who'd blame them?
You've grown (you're grown up)
So grown (so grown up)
Now I must say more than ever
(Come on, Eileen)
Too-ra-loo-ra
Too-ra-loo-rye-ay
And we can sing just like our fathers
Come on, Eileen
Oh, I swear (what he means)
At this moment
You mean everything
You in that dress
My thoughts, I confess
Verge on dirty
Ah, come on, Eileen
Come on, Eileen
These people 'round here
Were beaten down, eyes sunk in smoke-dried face
They're so resigned to what their fate is
But not us (no never)
But not us (not ever)
We are far too young and clever
(Remember)
Too-ra-loo-ra
Too-ra-loo-rye-ay
And you'll hum this tune forever
Come on, Eileen
Oh, I swear (what he means)
Ah, come on, let's
Take off everything
That pretty red dress
Eileen (tell him yes)
Ah, come on, let's
Ah, come on, Eileen, please
That pretty red dress
Eileen (tell him yes)
Ah, come on, let's
Ah, come on, Eileen, please
Now you're full grown (too-ra)
And now you have shown (too-ra, ta-loo-ra)
Oh, Eileen
Said, come on, Eileen (come on, Eileen) (you've grown)
These things they are real and I know (ta-loo-rye-ay) (so grown)
How you feel (come on, Eileen, ta-loo-rye-ay)
Now I must say more than ever (too-ra, ta-loo-ra)
Things 'round here have changed
I said, too-ra-loo-ra (come on, Eileen, ta-loo-rye-ay)
Too-ra-loo-rye-ay (come on, Eileen, ta-loo-rye-ay)
(Too-ra, ta-loo-ra)
Come on, Eileen
Oh, I swear (what he means)
At this moment
You mean everything
You in that dress
My thoughts, I confess
Verge on dirty
Ah, come on, Eileen
Come on, Eileen
Oh, I swear (what he means)
At this moment
You mean everything
In that dress
Oh, my thoughts I confess
Well, they're dirty
Come on, Eileen
Come on, Eileen
Whoa (what he means)
Whoa
Ah, come on, Eileen
Oh, believe me
If all those endearing young chums
That I gaze on so fondly today
Were to suddenly leave you, oh fly in the night
Just like fairy gifts gone in the sky
This is so fun and amazing to watch!
Thanks!
Good discovery

I would swap the A for a F#m on the come on Eileen second part. Gives it a more captured sound. Anyways, sounded great.
Cool, thanks for the tip!

❤ this song and your tutorial! I have a question: how do you split the G and A chords in the chorus? Would it be DDU for the G and UDU for the A?
Hi Angela! Thanks for watching and commenting - this may be a helpful question for other viewers as well. In the playalong, I'm strumming DDU DDU for the G and A at the end of the chorus pattern. DDU for G and DDU for A. It's basically the first half of the island strum repeated. Other option sort of like what you described: split up the island strum over two chords - when I do this in other songs I play one for DD and the other for UUDU. The change flows better for me this way personally. But you could also do it just as you described if you find that more natural! Hope that helps. 🤓
@@BrookePalmer Awesome! That is helpful. Thanks for replying, Brooke!
Love this!!
Thanks! There are a lot of similar videos in my play along playlist : ruclips.net/p/PLziQfcfPMYjyXNkmXlVkqpKz3Srv3IhV1
you're just too cool! such a great energy, I really enjoy your videos 👌
I found your channel because I was looking for tutorial for 'my babe' by Little Walter. Your cover was awesome, especially the harmonica part 😂
I hope that you'll do a tutorial for the song because your left looks a bit intricate
Thank you! It's 12 bar blues, very common song structure and used for a lot of rock, blues, folk, country songs - I have a lesson for it : ruclips.net/video/SY7nSWjNWq4/видео.html Another tip: Tenthumbspro channel is a great place to learn blues, he has a lot of series for the genre.
Thank you so much for your reply and recommendation!
I will no go and check your lesson ✌
Love it! Once again... another great tutorial and play along. Can I ask if you used an app to make the 6 different tiles and composing the play along?
Tessa Greive Thank you! Yes, it’s an app called Acapella
Looks like the girl down in the middle is in charge of this band :) ✌
LOL What makes you say that? That's the 4th 'person' to be recorded hahahaha
@@BrookePalmer I am not sure, but she looks as she is overlooking or conducting the whole thing, which is btw one of your best videos so far. I didn't watch them all, but this one seems so effortlessly made. Sorry for my english, i hope you understand what i mean.
S T Don’t be sorry! Never apologize for helping communication by speaking someone else’s language when they don’t speak your own!!! Thank you for watching! Now watching her, I see what you mean haha!
