    Now thats an extremely cool interview. You Rock Corbin !!!!! You did very well with that interview! Wow. J.H. is on his way. You know me well Corbin. I love pitching development! If one really thinks about it , its a far better deal than the free agent stuff. We got a baseball school of pitching going on. I have been closely watching the pitching developments and I really like what I am seeing. I am glad we grabbed the last game vs the Twins. They really are a very tough team. We beat their ace today ! Our new second baseman looks pretty solid. I thought he would be pretty smooth defensively from what I saw in the minors and he had a key hit today as well. It almost sailed out of there. It was nice to see a balanced hitting attack and good defense. Go Redsox ! Thanks Corbin. Joe

    Nice job, Corbin. The interview was good and you will get better the more you do it. It's always good to showcase minor league players. The Red Sox need bullpen help to replace Winchowski and Andrew's as they are both in the rotation. Hopefully they won't be there to long. Having a backup would be helpful. You never know when he'll be needed.

    Great job Corbin, I appreciate the content. In my 50 yrs of following the Sox, I can’t remember their being a better Pitching Coach than Bailey. I know it’s a small sample, but he’s looking good. Question: Did you take journalism in school?

    • @redseatradio
      @redseatradio  3 месяца назад

      No no journalism degree or anything. Bailey has been absolutely fantastic

    Love these player vignettes to give us a glimpse of the minors. If guys like Hagenman, Kwiatkowski, Penrod, Fitts work out… kind of wonder if the Sox will go after the big ticket free agent pitchers during the off season.
    When are you going to go to Portland for a weekend series to do a report from there? 😎 interview the big 3.

    Just to let you know how pleased I am with the Red Sox organization. Caesy Stengel had a great idea of platooning players and Alex Cora is doing the same to an extent. Best approach is continue with SP the more the merrier. Then the bullpen to make the pitching strong and stronger.
    My only other concern is the hitters. Swing and misses are hurting the team.This with runners on the bases hurts terribly. An example their 3-1 loss 2nd game loss to the Twins May 04 2024 at Minnesota.

    • @redseatradio

    U the Red Sox wanted to try it with Pappelbon they did it with Bard & MY Yankeesu did it with Jobba Chamberlin so these conversions usually don’t work it gets pitcher injured see Whitlock and puts more stress on bullpen

  • @bobmessier5215

    Wait and see. He's a decent prospect, but under the radar as a reliever. If he can pitch well for five or more innings, he'll have a better chance for the Sox. I think he may be more talented that Booser or Uwasawa.

    • @redseatradio

    Whitlock should have remained a dominant middle reliever….i think they need a new conditioning coach…. Not sure how I can comprehend SOOOO many injuries in a non contact sport…. Something wrong is happening….obviously collisions etc happen(shouldn’t) but these are professional athletes… hockey players miss a shift… these guys miss weeks if not months…. Grissom hamstring???Casas rib?? Etc etc etc don’t recall seeing this in the 60’s-90’s…
