The stalls are the things like the Workers Party the Socialist Party Communists and so on. I also noticed people with buckets collecting for Palestine when really it could be for a night in the pub. This is really going to have an adverse effect on tourism.

Enough is enough. I really don't care! If they are so passionate about it, let them go and protest through the Palestinian streets. If they are Palestinian, why are they in the UK and not fighting for their own country. It's ridiculous. They shouldn't be allowed to disrupt peoples lives like this. All that's happening now is folk are getting sick and tired of it not to mention the cost to the UK tax payer for policing these marches!

Why are they allowed any where near the horse guards? Mob rule has taken over London,the mantra that they have an absolute "right" to protest is wrong, Protests do not have a right to infringe on others civil liberties. Protests should be confined to a specific area and controlled by the police.
It really is hard to understand why this certain group has so much freedom when the Israel group is kept in a boxed off area and not allowed to move and also on that Day the British people wanted to celebrate they got shut down. Does it have to be who can pay the most money or who is in power in your Country. Like here in US its total crazy what is allowed here now days. The human troopers won't have had a day off. There is always work to do with horses even at the end of a long day. Kit of all kinds to maintain, some will be studying for something within the army, some will have to go to in house spontaneous classes.

Thank you very much, John, for showing us a real overview of the protests there, the only one i've watched being filmed without any hidden partis-pris, political agendas, as objective as the situation allowed. You're 10000% right about the press waiting for some"juicy" story to unfold, that will bring money and ratings. After all, that is the only thing that ever counts: money. And power along with it.
As a person who had the BA thesis done on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (as it was 20 years ago), I would urge people to do research on this topic before they form or express any opinions, that they've watched on TV or online or they've read in some newspaper, no matter how prestigious those nespapers claim to be.
The situation in the Middle East is extremely complicated and multi-layered and it has always been like this. As a non-UK and non-Commonwealth citizen, therefore no subjectivism involved on the matter, i would have to agree with you that these protests are indeed very well organized but they also get a very "flexible" response from Police forces. Compare the tens of thousands that came this past weekend with a few hundred that i saw for your St.George's holliday that received a very harsh and unjustifiably severe response from the Police, all in riot gear.
All i can say is that the communities that organize these pro-Palestine protests are numerous and powerful, as a collective. The international optics wouldn't look good at all on UK if they attempted to infringe these communities' right to protest there in the UK (that had been offered a safe haven in the first place), while already supporting Israel's domestic policy in Gaza.
Can't stand watching these protests. I hate giving them airtime. 😡

Couple quick questions. Have you heard anything more on the recovery of Vida, Quaker & the soldiers who were injured? Do you have any input from the Lifeguards on their helmets and if the strap under the mouth is uncomfortable as compared to the Blues strap that goes under the chin? Just curious!

This is abusing the right to free speech. Not many truly British people there, their argument needs to be taken to their own land. UK has had enough. Environmental Health should be dealing with that loud music, it is rude, intrusive and only causes anger, not tolerance.
