*Thoughts*
This was a boring experience and the severe lack of explaining how coils work and the effects they have
made it impossible for me to be immersed in what was going on.
There were some good moments.the animation and character designs were good.
but talking about the plot (possible spoilers)
i felt at least3 scenes were pointless.
-the scene where mira plays the video where the father was killed by new tesla as this led to nothing.
-the scene where the guy who had the illegal gear that loser stole messing with it and causing a rift. we never really get to see more of that.
-and finally the attempted rape scene which served no purpose what so ever in the flashback.
personally i think the story would of been far more enjoyable if it focused on the past.
imagine if it started with Kyouma as a child and showing how he grew up to become a delinquent.
and the effects it had on his life. then introduce Miyabi and show how her becoming part of his life effected him.
show some small missions with hospital visits in between.
have the final mission she dies and it shows him as a depressed wreck for the final episode
while watching the news saying how great the thing that killed his lover was
and how it will be the future.
until he meets someone off screen who gives him a chance
to let his frustration out
and with welcome to the team
done!
and bam you get something ??x better then what we got.

Albert has Kyouma do this mission while acting like he doesn't have the time.he ends up being on vacation and goes there anyway.
and as if it couldn't get more stupid he hides information that would of made the case so much easier to deal with...

the completely unneeded attempted rape scene
there are too many numbered coils.a author should never have a number set too high so we cant see them all.

Why is it impossible to create a number with modern technology if a small town with nothing was able to?
what is nothingness? why do coils stop working and why does it effect humans too?
did they forget about nothingness? how much of the island was effected by it.
who was the blond girl with loser?and what happened to the boy?

Akemi Homura The manga does a better job of explaining coils. I was confused by them in the anime version as well. But I just loved the overall concept, so I stuck with it. XD
