Real Madrid in real life plays a combination of counter football / wingplay and gegenpressing so I think wingplay I a solid choice. Gives you the most freedom with instructions and playstyles
Btw when you had free pass in the first season you should also have signed Alphonso Davies.. he is also a big target for Real Madrid next season. And one of the fastest and best LB in game. And knowing the wheel can ruin everything real quik it would have been a safe bet
