- Hello lovelies, Thanks for watching. This is a tutorial on how to do a partial foil and a paint between full head color but please take what you can learn from it and apply it to whatever you're doing and make it your own. This is just some of the techniques I use to achieve a dimensional full head color. I love my mama and she is beautiful and I really appreciate her being my model (especially for the next video coming out... ) She's a trooper. Please subscribe if you haven't already and let me know if there are any videos you would like to see. Bye :)

Great, professional video. You got right to the point, showed how to do the different techniques, and moved on. Maybe it’s just me, but it drives me crazy that the majority of videos, under the guise of instruction, seem to be a platform for people to hear and watch themselves blather on. You on the other hand, actually teach. How refreshing. Thank you.
I agree! She's precise and to the point and her "Hands On" approach to teaching while informing us "What" she is doing and "Why" she is doing it makes all the difference in the world! She would make a Fantastic teacher! (As a former art teacher myself- I know a "Natural" when I see one!) Great job Ashley! I love the results and I hope mine comes out exactly the same. I wanna be beautiful again and look like your mom! You are both so pretty! :)
@@claygirl8 You are so sweet! Its been a while since I've viewed this video or read the comments and this was so touching. Definitely makes me want to make more hair videos. Thank you :)
Thank you so much. What a compliment :) I was so young and one of my first hair videos so that means a lot!
I love your explanations they are so easy to understand and not intimidating thank you
Omg girl. I have been watching video after video trying to learn basics of foiling and yours was one of the most helpful I've watched ! Thank you so much!!!!

That’s the way I want my hair to look with soft natural looking highlights!

Thank you. It’s been 14 years since I went to beauty school and learned this... never went anywhere with that knowledge so... needed a good refresher.
By the way, the ending was funny. Your mom is awesome.
Doing my mom in laws hair tomorrow THIS VIDEO MADE ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER THANK YOU😍
I love looking at your mom just trusting you doin hair color to her. And the cat too is another star in the video. Good video here.
I like the lovely way of explaining the whole process of foiling. I enjoyed it too.
Thank you! :)))
Great video! I'm a 4c, so this has nothing to do with my own hair. I just stumbled upon this and got transfixed. I enjoyed you and your mom! She's very pretty and you only added to it with a beautiful color and cut.

@@AshleyAnn2321 @Ashley Ann Baker can you do tin foil if you do it to her backwards in your kitchen sink in the next video with normal speed
@@AshleyAnn2321 @Ashley Ann Baker can you???
Geezz well I thought you did a great job and the way you explain everything is good too
Looks awesome! Maybe try using 20vol next time to cover the gray, it tends to stick better and be less sheer :)
I have been a hairdresser for 35 years and always use 10-volume to cover gray when you're not lightning and it works very well and doesn't go brassy when it fades
This looks great! Thanks for the tips and advice!
great job young lady I appreciate you immensely you spoke very clearly and you're easy to understand can't wait to get started on my daughter's hair.
thank you!
I enjoyed watching your video. Great job.
Thank you so much!!!
Thanks for this :) What we put our Mum's through...
Oh my gosh I know!! my mom has let me pluck, tweeze, apply, cut, color, wax, and everything else to her. She even let me finish cutting her hair when the power went out once. She's the best
love the color! and your red cat.....so cute :)
Ending tooo funny lol
Do you wash with cold water so the dark color doesn't bleed on you bleached highlights?
You’re very to the point!! Ty!
Ur teaching is much more clearer tan most pro out ter..love te way u showed what product used.
Great Job!
Nice work young lady!!!
Thank you so much! :)
Perfect easy tutorial! I bet your mom loves that she doesn't have to pay a hair dresser anymore lol
Ending was funny. Pet the cat for me!
Excellent
Where did you get your cute apron, great video
Sallys I think lol so long ago
Thank you for doing a great job and getting right to it. Long boring discussion is so annoying! Can you or anyone talk about how to wash it out so the color doesn’t bleed onto the highlights. Also, your mom looks beautiful I think her hair could be a bit shorter and she would look in her Twenties.
aww your cat
I really enjoyed your video :)
Thank you so much!!
Lovely
Your Mom's hair doesn't require a toner? Or is that the purpose of the blue bleach?
Exactly! Her hair was light enough that I could lift it with the lightener and because it was a blue toned lightener it cancelled out any orange/brassiness that there may have been.
Kitty agrees. Meow !
I think you explained what you're doing very well?
I'm a hairdresser while doing highlight's you do the colour inbetween, 6% for colour so better coverage, bleach was on the hair way too long, you can see the bleached hair is damaged, you couldnt do this on long hair or it be ruined.
Queen Blondee thank you. This is exactly what I was wondering. When I do highlights my clients process so fast and I have to take them out as I go so they don't over process. And I have a full color and highlight coming in so I'll just do the color as I go through w the highlights like u said.
Or maybe using a lower volume if you choose to do it this way. Do like a 15 volume with lightener. Slow and steady
On long hair I would lower the developer strength on my last sections as I do with all my clients. Filming makes it take longer than I was anticipating. Im a pretty fast foiler and my moms hair is fine so the paint between takes less than 5 minutes.
I had to do this today on a client (I'm a student) and it was SO difficult and i wasn't happy with the results. I'm trying to hard to learn how to get the color all over the head, and to the root, without affecting the lightened parts. My foils were in the way, i had to re-wrap them after wiping them (since they couldn't process any longer) and the whole thing was just incredibly frustrating. Any advice for a newbie?
ME FASCINO.........
o corte fico horivel,as luzes ainda passsa legal vcs tem que melhorar no corte ai fica 10 vc trabalha muito bem.gostei
Wtf, the cut isn't horrible..
Why dont you still make videos?
I was really motivated to make videos back then and then had some life hurdles that kind of got in the way. I started becoming interested in DIY and stuff like that but my hair videos definitely were the most popular on my channel and I do want to start them again. I had a daughter a year ago and took on my boyfriends two kids full time so mom of 3 working full time unfortunately don't get much time to do the things I love. but reading all these comments really motivates me to get back to it. hope you will watch them!
Are you a license profesional ?
Yes I am licensed :)
And I'm friends with the owner Nat's pizza
I'm outside in a motherfucking parking lot waiting tinfoil in the hair. I don't care. It's worth the wait. I got a slice NoNats pizza She worked right next-door
