To clear up some of the posts on here, Hannibal is a very insecure man who is a dangerous worker because he takes himself to seriously. Watch his blood hunter matches where he botches most of his slams and drops even name talent like Harry Smith on their necks. He has size but very poor wrestling skills and his promos are just him trying to be like a bad imitation of the Ultimate Warrior. To clarify when people say he was a Canadian wrestling champion. He's talking about winning local tournaments, not even remotely close to being Olympic level. It'd be the equivalent of winning a tournament in high school.

Hannibal is wrong for that. He also put out that video of Buff Bagwell where he’s so loaded he can barely talk. Yeah, Buff is an addict and he should’ve known better than to go on video in bad shape, BUT Hannibal took advantage of him and sold videos of a guy at his worst. He could’ve easily said “keep the money brother we’ll reshoot when you’re ok” Instead he knew everyone would see it and he laughs about it. That’s sleezy in my opinion. I thought he was better than that.
And now he almost killed a ref in the ring by stabbing him in the head over and over again. And yet even then he's taking zero blame for it. Saying his mask was in the way and he couldn't see or that he never practiced with the spike and had trouble gripping it which is why he cut him so badly.

When I showed up they’re completely wasted on drugs or alcohol for whatever reason. Wouldn’t I be the better person by saying “let’s just do this another time”? He can cancel the payment. My main point is that Hannibal showed a lack of class putting out a video of a guy too wasted for talk. He could’ve easily put out a video saying “I wanted to interview Buff I set it up but he wasn’t in any condition to talk” Or just been a better guy and not tried to make money off someone else’s addiction. I've heard Hannibal is an unsafe wrestler at times. I do know that Hannibal refuses to put people over and will not do jobs. He has a huge ego for a guy who runs a low-rent indie promotion. His interviews are pretty good and they carry his youtube channel but the original wrestling content is not good and doesn't draw.
I've seen him put several people over. Also, he's an intense guy, but he's one of the most skilled and safe wrestler's to ever be in the business. He must have said something in one of his videos that hurt your feelings.

I don't think he's been able to run his promotion in Canada since the Covid started. If he's wrestling on shows in the States, almost guaranteed he's setting up shoot interviews around them. He makes more money off those than he can wrestling, right now. The worked shoot they did was pretty good. I like Hannibal's work, video and ring, but can see why Poffo would be pissed over the oxygen/shower issues. EDIT - Watched Hannibal's response to Poffo and he has no idea what shower video he's talking about. Maybe something Prophet posted on his own somewhere.
In Ontario we haven't had wrestling shows since 2020, he literally has been out of work since last March in his home country. Get your facts straight.

Jim Cornette, revealed Devon started his own wrestling promotion and pay wrestlers to interview and be part of his promotion. Hannibal TV is his RUclips channel. He posted a video of the old WCW payroll and it was difficult for Devon to see the lowest paid talent was making five times the amount he ever made in the business. This is why Devon was working menial jobs to make ends meet, he was making peanuts as a professional wrestler.
He's the best (or maybe it's least bad) shoot interviewer I've seen. He lets the guys speak without interrupting and is not a huge mark. Let me know if you've found somebody better; I'd like to check them out!

Hannibal isn't a wrestler, he's a damn mark that's made his way into the locker rooms. He does "interviews" yesterday has absolutely no knowledge of wrestling. He deserved what Lanny gave him.
I like Hannibal's interviews but his wrestling ability and promotion are pretty much a joke. He talks about the professional wrestling of the 80s and 90s but guys like Hannibal wouldn't have even been considered for any major promotion back then. Lanny Poffo was in the ring with some of the biggest names around.
If Hannibal's brother had been the Macho Man, he would have been a pretty big "superstar" in the 80s. A pretty good heel.

I've never seen Hannibal wrestle, but I've watched a few of his shoots. I always felt like he was POS, and I've even called him out for looking and sounding like he just finished a 4 day coke binge, but he never responded. Anyways, the truth always surfaces and Hannibal is now the Hasbeenibal. RIP Lanny!
I was enjoying Hannibal for a month or so...but he somehow turned me off pretty quick...seems to have a lot of grudges and something about his general attitude is kind of negative!
