This song actually has a very profound
background. Arnob wrote this track when he was in a rehab in Mumbai around 2009, recovering himself and reminiscing the time when his parents left him at shantiniketon (India) at a very young age. He basically was pleading his parents not to leave him by himself in this foreign place. Arnob was going through a very tough time around 2008/2009, and this track perfectly conveys those emotions. The pleading to hold,care, and love him in this distressing time.
Spritual poet Hason Raja was lived in Shunamgonj area in Bangladesh, which contain beautiful lakes where migratory bird gatharing every winter season from all over the world. Hason raja has his own house boat to enjoy the harmony. He tells to his beloved dilaram that, he's like migratory bird, only pure love can bind him from flying away.
I love how a legend like Arnob is using this platform to raise complete unknown talents to the mainstream. Hamida comes from such humble background, most people would never know of this dime in the dozen but this incredibly talented man recognised it.
I wish they had worked on their subtitle a little more. Words like "chhaipash" are difficult to translate but it could be done.

It is actually a mash up of two separate songs like most of the experiments done in Coke Studio Bangla
This one is very old song. Hamida Banu's part (female singer) took us in late 18 century or early 19 century. Hason Raja the lyricist expressed his escaping mind yet the desire of belongings to his love Dilaram. Hason Raja urged to his love to hold him tightly so that he can't escape from her. Anyway looks like this one is the end of season 2😢

Dil means heart, dilaram is the master of your heart/soul. It's basically a Sufi concept, and the song's phrasing is a bit hard to understand because the Sufi Poet is expressing himself in the third Person (As his name, Hason Raza). He is basically trying to find his God, and Pleading to God to hold him with love and care, he himself is too weak and whimsical, and not focused enough to find the master of his soul.
