Sir, I can NOT tell you how much you just helped me. It is 6:00 am in southwest Mississippi & I had sit down on my couch to look one more time for a way to taper ( bigger table legs). I have a rare order that a client wants filled with tapered legs on a 8’ table. I honestly was gonna text her that I couldn’t do it & you know how much money that was gonna be. Thank you again.
You could also use a router table with a fence that has the offset adjustment and put it trim or a flush bit in the router that would make it act as a jointer

What other power tool would make this same taper? I want to do the same thing, but I don't think a table saw blade raises enough to make them that thick. I just got a 14" bandsaw, but I don't think I can make it that thick either. Hmm
Nice technique, but for the most important part of the video, the tapering itself, you offered no detailed description and sped it up so fast it was very difficult to follow exactly what you did. After all the video description was "Making Tapered Wood Table Legs". I will use this technique, but a few more details on the tapering itself would have been nice.
Certainly not a bad way to make the tapers, but why speed up the video during this process making it almost impossible to see how it works? The taper cut is what the video was supposed to be about!

How many passes over the jointer for side ? Just till it looks good? Or did you go to a measurement thanks
It just depends but typically 6-8 per side if four sided. 14 per side if just tapering 2 sides

Tapering with a table saw is simple if you only taper one or two sides. Doing all four requires a good bit of math.
A guy on youtube named steve ramsey has a video on an easy jig to use for tapered legs on a table saw.
