For newer version of Google Docs, this will be "version history." You will see the different versions of the doc saved and you just click the drop-down arrow to show all the different edits that were made at certain points in time.
I was panicking dude. I'd accidentally deleted a page of work and hit the back button; when I went back to my doc, the work wasn't in my revision history. But this literally saved me a good 2 hours of work, so thank you. God bless

It happened once & I redid it. This time, I was riding in the car & my laptop was closed/w lock code at home. Phone was laying down. Opened my schedule on my phone & entire sections were missing.
Could this still work after years like this happened to me a year back and the doc is still there and everything but I saw it today and was hoping if I could get it back
