I hesitate between the baby ape and the crux35, I finally took the crux35, and when I see this video goes on, I tell myself I made the right choice, I look forward to my runcam thumb pro now, have a nice day SUPERBAFFO Fpv

It's a pleasure for me having inspired you! Thank you man. You will love that drone! Just 2 tips for the runcam thumb pro: i don't use the original tpu but i use the aliexpress one. The second, I use some blu tack (amazon) between the tpu and the runcam thumb to soften vibrations ✌️

Hello, what would you suggest, this one or the crux35?

    • @SUPERBAFFOFpv

      hmm that's a good question.
I go to the point. I would prefer more power and therefore would choose the crux because it is 4s, 3.5 inches, and faster.
the crux is more racing style (with the lipo under the drone).
but if you are a beginner the darwin might be more manageable.
just consider that lipo 3s are less common than 4s, for example I have 3s lipos that I bought only for the darwin.
last thing, i just found out that a new model of darwin fpv is out: the darwin baby ape 2. it is a 3.5 inch version and you can choose between 4s and 6s!! I would wait for some reviews before eventually buying it, but it looks promising!

      The Crux35 is quite amazing.
I'm flying with Avan scimitar props and it's practically silent for cruising.
It can carry 1100mah LIHV 4s battery and fly for 15+ minutes cruising.
You can get about 12 min on a 850mah HV 4s
Obviously these times are reduced to about 6 and 8 flying it SuperBaffo style...lol
It can be smooth and cruising or fast and aggressive...
      BUT it is quite delicate...
      I'm on my 2nd bottom plate...😅

@@BendApparatus thanks for your reply. what's the cause of your 1st broken frame? was it the way you fly like too much aggressive or you crashed?

@@bjalmoite It was strange, the crash shouldn't have caused any more damage than a broken prop. But for some reason the impact caused an arm to splinter upwards.
It was a slow and I mean slow speed crash.
I basically bumped a tree trunk while hovering. But it's like that with carbon fiber frames. Sometimes they'll survive extreme crashes... Then break at the lightest tap.
Either way, parts for this quad are relatively inexpensive as long as you don't burn out the AIO board.
It really is a great flying versatile beginner quad...make sure you start your FPV learning journey over some nice plush grass though...😅

Thank you man! It is a dvr video (just what I recorded from my goggles). Almost exactly what I see while flying.
At the end of the video there is a short part where I show the runcam thumb footage but I don't like it ✌️
