Batman is the NES I regret never playing. The "licensed IP official video game" avoidance was real, even if there were some gems out there. I should really find a way to play it sometime. Awesome marathon! Still watching.
If you're really 83 years old and watching/commenting on a marathon video game speedrun session then I truly salute you. Coolest 83 yr old I've ever seen.
I know of a secret to one of the Castlevania games from when I was a kid, I do NOT remember which game specifically it was, but if I remember correctly; in 1 of the games there is a secret path to the final boss of the game. Not sure if this is something the community knows about or not, but I have NEVER heard or read ANYWHERE else about this. Maybe this is well known, maybe it isn't, maybe it will change speedruns in the game (once it is found to be which game it is). Now, at the very start of the game, if you just go left or right (you much go the same direction the entire time without going the opposite direction) so many times, it will take you directly to the final boss of the game. I am almost positive this was a secret path to the final boss of 1 of the games. And I feel I remember it being 7 times (going 7 screens over in the same direction without going back the opposite direction). There is a slight chance it could have been for another game I played, but I am almost positive it is for Castlevania. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks all.
I can't stop watching your videos Arc. Wife says I have "An Addiction". Not sure just love the runs. Thanks for everything. Glad to be a subscriber. *Fist Bump* Ever done a Journey to Silius?

Hi RetroHeads quick question, sorry in advance, i'm sure it is asked a billion times. I am a gamer enthusiast in the same age range as Arcus. I really want to get a Super Nintendo, and realized that getting a legit one would be a bit tricky and expensive. I was wondering if the Mini SuperNintendo, available on the market for a little over 100$ with 20 games already installed in the console was worth it? Is it really going to give me the same feeling as when I was a kid? I want to be nostalgic, you see? If the feeling is not there its not worth it. Thank you very much in advance, and keep those hairs growing gentlemens, and womans I guess too. Nature meant it this way.
Get it and the 8bitdo controller set up that you feel will work best for you. Excellent company and quality. I don't think you'll be disappointed even if you don't play it as much as you think you will. I've got one that I added extra games to and an analogue super nt with an fx pax pro and feel pretty much the same about both. Super nt in my eyes does what they advertise with basically no lag on whatever TV I play it on but snes classic is significantly cheaper and I don't feel any lag when playing it on a 32 inch TCL tv (feel a little lag on my 55inch but not much). I have 2 kids under age 4 so my time is extremely limited to play but always get a few bucks worth of entertainment out of it when I play either one. Over time I do believe either choice would be worth it. Good luck choosing!

This is my first arcathlon, I think it’s a great selection of games! Love the runs, stay awesome!
By far the best all around runner I’ve seen. Dude is unreal at a huge amount of games.
Very talented execution
I think my weakness in playing these games is, wanting to kill every enemy unit, and get every powerup.
