“Love You Forever” is one of my favorites. As a teacher, I read it every year for my Kinder Moms, Mother’s Day Tea. The mothers would receive all of their special gifts and then I would close every tea party with reading the book. The entire room would be filled with tears before I could even finish the book.

Edit: I actually rly enjoyed Jolene! Her warm, honeyed vocals accompanied the tone of the song perfectly. In the same way, Dolly’s high, pure vocals accompanied the pleading nature of the original. What I especially liked about Bey’s version was that it wasn’t about her man stepping out but about “Jolene” attempting to overstep her boundaries. Bey checked that disrespect in a way that I thoroughly appreciate😌
I did a 2000s party for my 40th last year!!!! Track suits, jeweled bandana, Tommy Hilfiger and baby phat, house of derón. We played all early 2000s music and decorated my basement with Word up magazine posters lol. We even had the airbrush photo backdrop ❤ It was EVERYTHING! Do it Mel!!!

Also my literary brain loves some good story telling and visual symbolism that these albums give
