- The Royal St. Lucia Police Force has come in for high praise for its conduct on the ongoing crack down on crime.
Both the police commissioner Crusita Descartes Pelius and prime minister Philip J Pierre promised that response to the upsurge in crime would be strong, persistent and within the confines of the law.
But one incident in Vieux Fort on Sunday has resulted in a complaint against a plain clothes policeman from a former police inspector.
Take them to court, thats your pension
I hope he makes an example out of these so called police officers who think that they OWN the law..smh
I love it. Don't stop. Take it to furtherest route u can. Some officers abuse their power and people do not exercise their rights.
It finally hit home , it’s time someone put a stop to them things
And that's exactly what the concern had 🐝 during the implementation of the new powers given to the police
I hope he makes a huge example out of that so call police officer that thinks his the law and can do whatever he wants out of uniform no proper introduction no badge or id to say who is he and acts like a criminal.
Great take the matter further. The current chief needs to look into this. Some of these officers have a bad habit of behaving as if they are above the law.
Its high time, certain officers just think they are obove the LAW....
He can not stop the people.
Every thing in st Lucia back ward even them Court system
Good it happens to you.. ..it happens to the public
More police training is needed. I don't blame the ex-police officer for not wanting to stop, the officer not wanting to produce identifications showing who he is could have the the bad guy's up to no good. What a sorry situations St.Lucia is in. HIREINGS of semi educated in law enforcement
HAVE its negative drawbacks..Let's hope in future stops police identified themselves properly, but there's a chance the rotten one's abused there authority
And police commander takes no actions. The more people in the world the more
CONFUSING IT BECOMES..RRRRR ITS DOGS 🐕 EATS DOGS 🐕 THAT'S THE WORLD'S WE LIVE IN
TODAY'S. RRRRRRRRR BAW- WAW. ✌ ☮ always.
You should have him charge
Some of those officers need training on how to approach situations because there are ways to approach every situation, if u in plain clothes and u stop someone the first thing u should do is identify yourself with an ID simple.
Lack of training
It should be common sense to be uniform to work in a public space. St. Lucia has had high crime rate for many many years now. Police need to be in uniform when working, how else is a civilian suppose to know who is trying to pull them over with all the crime and past incidents.
Question for u Mr Bastien ..what does this have to do with the public ?
Ask ur self that
The police is not above the law. Citizens need to know their rights that is why his story is important.
It's people like you that stay silent while officers abuse their authority in inhumane ways
Awa fir ppl like yall. Sad that's y police doing what they want with yall Api zot kwapon parsay ki
Had you remained silent, no one would have known that your IQ is very far below 86😊
When he was an officer he did worst
And do not stop the people make the people do the job and do not stop the people from do the job pzl
No
To me there are alot of criminals hiding in the police force and also perso. Who were picked on when they were younger and use being in the force to boss people around and take advantage for what happened to them in the past.
😅😮😅🎉
Sue them
The public suffered
Pm délivrer forns Arlette from prisons thank you
If that was barbados nothing won't happen at all at all
That story so bogus 🤣🤣🤣
Most of the time criminals get to know police are in the surrounding and they stop in doing their crimes ,an after they do what they had plan. I'm not saying that the officers was right in how he treated the retired officers, but being in the force for amount of time or years doesn't matter who you are what name you carry. You can be a criminal nomater the years you spend in the force
Make the people to do the job the people trying to do the best
You do a good job in st Louis
stop cleaning
Good for him I'm sure he used to valuate people Rights
A money you a look. Enjoy the little money you getting for pension..and enjoy the time you have left over their
Sue them these caribean police is full of self pride think that there 8s above the law sue them please
No doubt a uwp supporter right???
What politics have to do with that when we know alot of officers are out to mistreate people and abuse their power , I am all for the police doing their jobs but should go about it the correct way.
Where politics coming in???
Bat chew ‼️
Ask ur self that
@@alvinjoseph8724 sadly it is political
That is the right because police need to be out of uniform to get the criminals
Wow I too wouldn't want to stop. you in plain cloths and the way things are going I wouldn't trust stopping. So if I was shot at and killed, I wonder what story would be told.
St lucian you all must know what you all want
Stop it man make the people do the job

The police with gun look like vilient loll
For me pzl by by
I watch the video and all they concern is about the lady officer butt. And you can see she just want thy attention on her . Imagine what kind of eyes I have to recognize that😂 lol
All the problems down south came about as a result of poor representation, which can only be blame on the district rep whom has been voted in & supported by the southerners for over 25 years. Worse yet he was the country's Prime Minister for 15 years without paying attention to the development of View Fort & it's environs.
Suffice to say as a constitutional lawyer it is widely alleged that he encouraged the thriving drug trade which some folks depended upon as the south relies mostly on fishing for their livelihood, he cleverly tolerated this illegal trading by endorsing representation of drug lords & their families via his law firm.
The 5 years best years that V/Fort enjoyed any means of legal prosperity & low period of gun violence was between 2016-2021 when the then ruling UWP through the vision of PM Allan Chastanet started to embark on getting young deprived employed via IT services, DSH investment groundwork, the cleverly negotiated Tourist Cruise Ship Southern Port & the massive redevelopment of The much needed Hewanorra International Airport. Which are all sadly ignored by the lack of knowledge present administration.
What V/Fort and the southern region on the whole needs is good representation to take them into prosperity. This can only be achieved by the people waking up to realized that they have been fooled & taken for granted for too long by a self serving constitutional world boss whose now has tagged alongside what he once described as an undesirable drug baron trying to infiltrate his political arena.
St.Lucians & the south beware, as the worse is yet to come.!!

Roug
and still doing it altho u still complain cant be serious
There are two sides to every story. That's his version.
What did you do as an inspector/police officer sir? Is it that YOU felt because of who you are that you were above being stopped? You are not above the law, why were you deliberately driving in areas where they were patrolling and you do not live there. Hopefully those that you also wronged while in the uniform remember to sue you too. Useless arrogant men who don't know when their time is up.
Story teller 🤣
👀🙄💀😂
