I got one on the new 4x4 back in February and it’s a definite must have for all electronic throttles. Great post and no complaints from me either on the hike it throttle controller, best on market imo.
Just installed mine today, works really good. Auto mode hasn't kicked in properly yet and I have been driving around in Cruise mode 1, which suits my driving style. Only problem is the V, L and A buttons can not be seen at night. I went to pass a caravan and was groping around for the Launch button as there are no back lights for those buttons. I hit the Valet button instead and went nowhere 😞. That is the only improvement I would suggest, its a big oversight when you can't see the launch button when you need it!!!
Hahahha I bet that was disappointing as well hitting L planting it and nothing happens 🤣 I find I use the off-road modes heaps so I don’t go full send all the time
I bought a different unit. Didn't want the ugly appearance, and don't really change driving style that often, so settled on the level I wanted, and just stuffed the control unit in the top of the quarter panel trim next to the accelerator pedal.
Made a big difference for sure. But I'll be the one to say it.. not a fan of how it looks. It's massive and looks cheap with the dial. Liked the older version with just buttons.

I have a 2021 Ti and you get presented with 3 options, one of which is y61 so not applicable, but others are st-l/ti or ti-lw with adaptive. Couldnt get a straight answer from them so thought I'd ask the question of someone in the know 😀
Hey mate, if anything it uses slightly more but nothing too bad. I think if you drove around in one of the economy modes it’d probably use less. But I don’t think I’d handle making it less responsive for every day driving
Hi Guys. Just wondering if it will help a problem i have with my S5. On a light throttle position, the RPM fluctuates, the tacho jumps around and you can hear it from the exhaust. I bought a 2021 model with the problem, nissan said it was running to specifications. They ended up taking it back and i picked up a new one last week. Well it does the same thing. has anyone had the same experience?

I like that they did something different, the older style is definitely sleeker though. I do like the usability of this version though
