The hellfire caves is such a good place to go visit especially when its warm as its nice and cool there. Its got so much history and stories from there so good you both managed to go there.
It was sucha lovely cool temperature down there x

Your conversation with Ozzy about what happens when someone dies reminded me of a question my much younger brother, who must have been about 5, asked my Grandad once - "Grandad do you want to be burnt or buried when you die?" "Burnt lad" was the reply.
😆 I'm with him on that one. Don't stick me in the ground.

When does school get out for summer? Our temp today was 32c... soooo thankful for a/c.
Ozzy looks so dapper with his hat... such a little man. Gorgeous view!! The mausoleum is gorgeous. Has it ever had any thefts or damage? Wow.. what a cave!. The history, and those that worked for pennies is mind boggling. By saying the names of the statues in the cave, you acknowledged they aren't - and won't be - forgotten. I do that when I visit graves, just to acknowledge they were once alive. I'm weird like that.. ha (The blood red to represent the "worked to the bone" men that built the cave for pennies. That's how my imagination sees it.. ha ) Aww..... Millie living the best life. 💕
I like the way you think. Keeping their names alive. We brake up for Summer on Wednesday this week. Private schools have already broken up.
We parked in a completely different place when we went there. Though it was a nice walk until the steep part!

@@WormsEyeView it was a car park at the bottom of the hill up a road towards Bledlow Ridge. It was by a cafe I think.
