Great cartoon! I like the Direction you are going for but the visual effects are a bit wonky which can either be changed by improving your editing and vfx skills or by making everything real (using paper backgrounds etc). Still I love your cartoon!
Thank you for the feedback! It's greatly appreciated. I would love to make the backgrounds out of paper as well but I went with cg just for a quick and dirty look. Any suggestions on the VFX aspect? One more thing that could be improved it the use of depth. Sometimes it's hard to follow the action or distinguish subjects from the background because of the way everything blends together. You could fix this using shadows or using a stylistic approach by making the subjects the opposite color from the background. The rest of your cartoon is perfect.
