I just love how Izzy's riffs are more "Classic Rock", while Slash's are more "Metal". You can totally hear how different their influences were, yet both of their styles meshed together so perfectly. It's what made early GnR sound so amazing: their dynamic. The "shuffle riff" that Izzy plays underneath Slash's second solo.... so good.
Fun fact: slash used a special les paul that Joe perry of aerosmith used in the 70s. This particular guitar had such good tone and was so special, joe perry wanted it back after, but slash wouldn't give it back and is still the one he uses. Old Joe perry guitar tones are unmatched. This same guitar was featured in Aerosmith songs like "nobodies fault".
Izzy adds more pizzaz to the tracks. Slash has more of the backbone and the solo part covered. Part of why the music is good is because it’s like teamwork and it brings the songs together

I swear this album and Megadeth's Rust In Peace have the most perfect guitars tone of all time
I simply love how out-of-tune they were to mKe this massive guitar sound. It is truly a beautiful gift.
No Pro Tools either 🤘
Slash wasn't the only guitar player in gnr y'all
Yep, "they" gets it.
just goes to show us that technical perfection isn't the most important thing

Es increible literalmente, no puedo expresar la tranquilidad y paz que siento al escuchar este heavy tan hermoso!
a wonder that only the 80s could have created.
There is so much Chromatic stuff going on in this track that it makes my head spin. 🤪

This makes me think of when Grand Theft Auto Liberty City came out good times
Its amazing how much of gnr was izzy and not slash
Most of this is just slash actually
I’d you listen to slash’s isolated track it sounds the same
@@TheLuke... fr everyone wants to downplay Slash's contrinution to GNR for some reason on these videos.
eram os dois, nem um sozinho, nem outro.
